Rank and tasks
« on: June 17, 2008, 11:17:12 am »
Quote
SAPD Chief of Police: He Leads the SAPD and he is the Highest Rank of the Police Department. He takes the Main Decisions and his nearest assistants are the Deputy Chiefs and Captains. He takes care of "Police system" in general, he can add new ranks, he can prepare new training programs for the cadets. All the decisions regarding the SAPD must be approved by the Chief of Police

SAPD Deputy Chief: this man (or men) is the second highest rank in a division, he has the same powers as the chief (but obviously the Chief has the last word in every discussion), he can fully command the PD if the chief is off duty or not available. For this reason, the Deputy chief is usually a calm and experienced official, a policeman who faced every kind of dangers and situations during his months in the SAPD. The chiefs are not forced to nominate a deputy chief.. but if they need help to share the work, he will be right person.

SAPD Captain: The Captains are the Eyes and the Arms of the Chief. They make sure that everything is all right. They can suggest improvements and plan operation to show to the Chief, who will approve or reject the suggestion. If the Chief is not on Duty, the Captains become the Officials in Charge and they will administrate the PD while the Chief is away. Ask him any question and he will give you an answer

SAPD Sergeant: His task is to scream at the cadets of his squad, he doesn't do trainings. He makes sure the cadets understood the lessons. A senior police officer, to become a sergeant, must be strong, take actions without fear and punish every kind of rulebreaking by officers and cadets, he is the "police in the police" and works as eyes for the higher ranks.

SAPD Senior Officer: An experienced officer who served with honour and courage his division, his rank is a proof and award of his good work in the San Andreas Police Department

SAPD Officer: He is the basic trooper of the San Andreas Police Department. A well trained and well experienced policeman who passed the training and familiarized with his mates in the Police Department. He obeys to the Captains and the Chief and he takes part of most of the important police operations in San Andreas.

SAPD Cadet: The Cadets are the Citizens who are still receiving a training or have just joined the Police. Its all up to their skills, and if they will pass the training they will be promoted to SAPD Officers. We wish a flourish and honest career to all the new Cadets.
(OFFICIAL RANKS AND TASKS)

Hey, I was wondering if we could make it a bid simplier to new players. Here is my idea:

* Chief and Deputy, stay's like it is.. same as Cadet
* Officers: They train new cadets, take them on duty, let them gaining XP (Unofficial)
* Sen. Off.: Train Officers to be a good Trainer (for cadets), show where needed bad points ect. and gives cadets an official training
* Captains: They test the cadet to become an officer. Takes 10 situations (regular to heavy ones) and see theire actions, they can let you fail or pass.
* Sergeants: They eye of the police, they are here for control and to answer questions of Officer and higher. They were less on patrol, but react on actions of the ARPD members (kindness to civilians, listen to ranks, respect lower ranks, ect)
