This is the ARPD forums, They are the main law enforcement forums of ArgonathRPG. You can join multiple divisions here, Such as SA:MP SAPD, MTA:SA SAPD, IV:MP LCPD, etc.
To be able to join one of these divisions you have to make an application in the correct section/board. These board are listed on the main page of this website.
If you want to start your own police group, you have to start a topic, in for example: SA:MP Division, explain the goals and tasks of your force.

If any more questions, feel free to ask ;)

In theory, yes, it is possible, but practically i really doubt that it's possible to make your division official.

BCSD has been there for quite a long time before it got closed, it had a lot of members that were actual proffessionals, we were the most active departament functioning at that time, and we indeed received nothing but praise.
But yet, no-one made our departament official, and in fact, after collapse of DPD, they made BCPD instead.. That was quite dissapointment , but we had to live up with it.

But i learned one thing while being the Sheriff of BCSD - you can still enjoy playing in your group, regardless if its official or not. Even better when not official - you're more independant, and your decisions are not suppressed by SAPD regulations.

There are already few official divisions on the Divisions board of the SAPD.
I doubt that they would make your divisions official from few reasons, like maybe lack of experience or because you're not SAPD, etc.
But you may do a group which will be directed to some officers and the group will has the own subject and wont be doing general activities of officer.
I think that there are already enough groups like that and no more required.

Expand this please. If a person is not SAPD on Argonath, why would that make him unexperienced? Perhaps he was Captain somewhere else, and is now willing to make Argonath safe instead.

The chances of a random division opening becoming official under SAPD are 0.00000 percent. RS5 system will be the one to provide such system on groups.
We already have proposed around 3-5 divisions which will be all open in future for the SAPD to entertain the officers and reward them for their work in the achievements they accomplish.

We're not talking about proffessionalism here, we're talking about expierence. Nim stated that a person that is not in SAPD has no expierence. Well , hell no!

I'm serving as a freecop for around three years now.. So you would say i have no expierence, just because i hold no SAPD rank?

Experience > Rank

Due to my previous post which brought a bit of wrong sounding when it was replied to, I will rephrase it like that.
Point is valid, but Max uses it not so much because he belives it, rather it suits him.

Oh , seems yes, infact i did misunderstood the point.

But so far, many of people are trying to say that rank > expierence.

Just something I'd like to throw in there because it caught my eye...

There is no such thing as "SAPD Forums". ARPD Forums is home to more than just SA:MP SAPD. This is a common confusion because SA:MP is a large server within the community, and thus many assume it is the only, which is just not true.

As for your endeavors to become official, I wish you luck. There is never any guarantee, but don't give up on your pursuits for fun roleplays, and one day you may get the positions you seek through your hard work and dedication. :cop:

Dean, read properly.
I made "Or" between the SAPD and the lack of experience.
It means that if you're not SAPD it wont be official *OR* you lack of experience.
I didn't said them both in once.
And no, some of the ARPD are experienced even more than some of the SAPD Officers. (e.g. Retired SAPD Officers/Command, Retired FBI, FBI Applicants, SAPD Applicants)

Not necesseserily, there might be people that never even tried SAPD, because they feel that they dont need a rank and a SMG to roleplay.
