Suspect breaking out of his cuffs
« on: August 20, 2012, 12:16:54 pm »
Hello,

There was an officer in danger at Vinewood, so I responded with two other guys in my cruiser. When I arrived at Vinewood, we stepped out of the car and aimed our gun at him. CroW Luciano surrendered, using /gu. (click here for evidence) After that we just took him to the LSPD, but when we arrived at the LSPD, something weird happened.
CroW Luciano roleplayed this : ' CroW_Luciano(29) uncufs somehow and pulls out Combat' and immediately he kills one of my fellow officers, runs away and shoots us with M4. (evidence) The distance he ran was much further than the allowed distance wich you can run when you are cuffed, but still the screen says that he was cuffed.
After that he ran in the garage and that is where I killed him. Now I have a lot of questions:

- Is he using a new hack?
- Is this a new bug?
- How did he do this?

All be aware that this is possible, especially watch out with Luciano's.
There were no admins online when he did this, by the way, I posted this on the argonath forums as well, check that for more updates.

Thank you for reading this and here is a full album of the situation: http://imgur.com/a/mNwl9#1

I really don't know how he did that..
Possibly a new bug.
Hack? I don't see how.
But still, this should be investigated by the administration team.

[11:52:03] {1A46FF}[HQ]: {409FFF}Criminal CroW_Luciano(29) surrendered. {1A46FF}DO NOT KILL HIM {409FFF}, proceed to transport him.
[11:53:17] CroW_Luciano(29) uncufs somehow and pulls out Combat

Clearly a rulebreak, since you cannot engage after surrendering.

I think it's a bug.
I told him it's not allowed and he broke the rules, and he said: "Nope".

The re-action by CroW via /me is just addition to the actual bug. I had this long time ago, I believe I have a picture in one of my patrol reports or my dashcam storage ((SA-MP pictures))

If he runs away from you when he surrended, doesnt matter either /gu or /hail-ed and you cuffed him in roleplay way, then he must comply. If he decides to run away, you have right to report him as it is aganist rules, simple.

If there were no admins/moderators present at the time of the incident, and the suspect has engaged you in combat then personally I would've gone ahead and killed the suspect. The safety of your fellow officers, civilians and yourself is a priority as far as I am concerned.

If all else fails, well then, run, regroup and apprehend/neutralize him later.

However as Tom has said, if there are admins/moderators who can intervene then report the suspect to them straight away as it is a violation of one of the server rules.

Thats true, but thats not the problem here. The problem is that he broke out of his cuffs, he ran like 100meter away (normally you would have been frozen) and he started shooting. There were no admins online at that time as well. He just ran far far away, normally you would have got frozen, so I am warning you guys for this bug.

It is probably glitch/script abuse so be careful when arresting a luciano.
