Debrief: All the officer gathered up at the Police Department of LVPD and lined up against the wall to get their team assigned! We had assigned our teams into 3 teams in cruisers, 1 motorcycle unit, 1 HPU and 1 airunit. We started the patrol from LVPD and split up Las Venturas into both North and South (LVPD-1, LVPD-2 and MU-1 got North, LVPD-3, HPU and AU-1 got South).

During the organised patrol no major incidents occured, only the usual traffic stops were to be given and evading suspects were to be stopped. After 30 minutes AU-1 caught a driver preforming an illigal U-turn on the Old Las Venturas Strip, LVPD-1 responded on that and managed to stop him and get a regular traffic stop. Unfortunately this person decided to flee and drove off towards the highways, several units were called for backup and we managed to chase him down till the southeast of Las Venturas. There he took his Infernus and used his speed to get away from us, at some point he got into an NRG and got us chasing him all around LV during 10 minutes. At one point he used a stunt to get onto the roof of a casino and he managed to shot our AU-1 and flee off again; unfortunately we weren't able to catch him again.

The rest of the patrol was calm and all units did a good job on their part.

Today at roughly 22:03 ARPD Officer George Michaels was caught opening fire on a suspect who was not armed without giving a warning. I called Officer Michaels to LSPD along with two other officers who witnessed. I attempted to give George a small peptalk about the issue and give a verbal warning to him. He lied and refused to cooperate and collaborate the story of the two officers. During this time while I prepared his new uniform from Cluckin Bell, he was strongly defensive and slightly reaching the disrespectful level. His original copban was gonna be 2 hours, his telling me no and disregard to our instruction, it was elevated to 6 hours. The copban reason is constant ARPD infractions, as this is not the first time I've seen this officer break the regulations whilst on duty. After a long discussion in Teamspeak, which started off on the wrong foot. Officer Michaels confessed to his rule breaking, apologized, and explained what he did wrong. For this act, his copban was reduced to only 1 hour.

To: SAPD Academy Command From: The Desk of LSPD Officer Jonathan Scott Re: SAPD Application- George_Michaels I, LSPD Officer Jonathan Scott witnessed the events stated by Division Chief Rosso. Officer Micheals shot the suspect because "he heard shots". The suspect was unarmed and not displaying violence toward any Member of the Police Force at that time. The suspect then began to run around in circles to avoid being shot by Officer Michaels, at which time Officer Michaels continued shooting at him.  Upon speaking to the officer the Officer George_Micheals said that he did not know where the shots were coming from, but he decided to open fire anyway. After he attempted to argue his way out of the complaint against him, he was copbanned by Division Chief Rosso. This arguement then continued for some time. After he was done arguing, he appoligized as stated by Division Chief Rosso and requested that i post a recommendation on his application, and try to make his application look better due to the copban he had received. Now, he did not get this and i do not find such behavior suitable of one who wishes to be a member of the San Andreas Police Department.

We all make a mistake and he got punished for it ingame. We're all here to learn things and not to be punished. In my honest opinion, I think this guy has great potential ingame but just slipped out during that incident. He learned from it and I am sure he would not be so stupid to repeat it. I'll pay attention in him ingame to transfer my experience to him, not saying that would make him any better, but I think I have been here long enough to improve his "weaker points".

So I honestly think, all this posts of people who witnessed are enough now (we have FBI and SAPD proof, that's fine) and we should work on improving him, instead of all confessing his mistake

Admission and awareness of mistakes are strong foundations for improvement. The point of having him realize what he had done wrong wasn't an act of anything but helping he move on with a learning experience from the overall situation. I'll also add, he wasn't going to be cop banned initially, I only wanted to point this out to him, however his disrespect and lying led to his cop ban. Additionally, I was requested by the officer to post my statement here.

5 bike units went on SFPD patrol today. At 1:44 GMT -5 and EST we strted our patrol. We had 3 chases 2 out of them were arrested and the other one was killed.
