Title Continued: (both RP and Scripted)

Hallo I wanna start with a sorry if I am not posting this at the right place .

Now about the idea which might already exist . I believe there should be the duty of every officer not doing something vital to respond to the fire missions . I believe the fact that it is about ever 30 minutes is the reason almost no body responds but still this must change . Reason:
Without the contol of the PD a fire can cause many civilians to die . Examble:
Today there was a fire at the bridge connecting Los Santos and Flint County . While me and some other very skilled firemen were trying to control the fires and extinguish them two civilian vehicles passed threw the fires getting in danger both their lives and ours . Thanks God their vehicles didnt explode or hit any of us . But one of those two cars was a RoadTrain . Imagine how much this thing weights , it could easily make the bridge fall taking in the water both the firemen on the scene and him self and also causing a huge destruction . If the PD was there none of those cars would have got our lifes but also theirs in danger by passing threw .

The first thing i noticed was, that you said "both Rp and Scripted".
What do you imagine by putting a new Script for a new duty? I think, it is in no way required to put any kind of script in it.
About the Roleplay, you are fully right by it. Although you should think about the Priority of this. Is it a High Priority Duty? ( Have to break any current Duty, Code 3 to the Situation) or a minor Priority Duty? ( Can/must respond, possible to complete current duties[Traffic Stops, etc.], Respond Code 1)

In all ways, i agree with it as a minor Priority but Officers seem to be bored with it.
However, we can not assure you that nobody can disturb your Work. You know Argonath, all the Lawbreakers and even Cop baiters. People might aim to break through blockades just to become suspected.

Just for the protocol.... I am fully supporting it, that responding to fire missions should be one of the duties as Police Officer.

Quote from: SugarD @ ARFD Forums
The ARPD are already notified when a Fire Mission starts that assistance is requested at the location. If they fail to respond, a complaint may be made to the SA:MP SAPD. :)
Same applies to requests over the radio at non-scripted fires and medical calls.

For further reference: http://arfd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=1805.0

Although you should think about the Priority of this. Is it a High Priority Duty? ( Have to break any current Duty, Code 3 to the Situation) or a minor Priority Duty?
It is an emergency, so it is of equal priority as any other backup request, radio call, or 911 response.

When i said RP and Scripted I meant both for the RP Fires and such Scenes and the Scripted Missions . I never spoke about adding any new scripts . just like enforcing it or something

Every Firemission is a priority . Fires can killing many players and are easy to spread

As far as I am aware, SAPD members are already obligated to respond to 911 calls, backup calls and calls for police assistance (from neighbouring emergency services). If you're in a situation where you need police assistance, why didn't you ask for it in the radio then? Granted, police don't always respond to calls for police assistance, but I still see no reason to force SAPD to respond to fires no matter what the circumstances. I think its better left up to the fire department to decide whether they need police assistance and as I've said, this is what you should have done at the time.

In the future, you should read over SAPD regulations so you have a good understanding of them, before you try to suggest amendments to them.

I've responded to quite a few fire scenes and set up roadblocks, but the thing is that people just don't stop for roadblocks anymore. Even when it means they'll have to drive through the fire, they'll still pass your roadblock or just ram it for the sake of it. I've even had my car blow up once because I was rammed so often (when it started, carhp was 100/100)!

It made me lose the fun in roadblocks, since people just don't care. Get people to stop for roadblocks (or just take a diffirent route, often only a small detour) and I'll be happy to close the road down again. Until then: no go.

If they break roadblocks like that, you are fine to suspect them right away and let them keep driving. As per Gandalf, they cannot refuse roleplay in those types of situations, so by ignoring your's and ruining it, they are engaging in it too. :P

Well, I do suspect but I can't ignore the part where basically all RP you have in that situation is ruined. And while getting rammed is something I can get past, getting rammed by 9 out of 10 cars that go past is just.. Annoying as hell.

Could always stage extra officers around the area to pursue if they break it. :cop:
