Resignation - Cadet Solonik
« on: March 06, 2013, 13:57:04 pm »
I'm quiting the ARPD Academy.

Its not all that complicated. but i have several reasons for it.
I think ive done more then enough trainings. some even for the 3rd time.
Still i do not meet the requirements for the exam. If you request an training. the superiorrs had no time.
Also the field officers dont always have time.

I even did trainings and patrols myself.
On that you jsut get a "good job" and nothing else.

It's a shame that this is the SFPD now.

I'm sorry. i tryed my best in San Fierro.

i do however want to thanks the persons who did showed interest. even if it wasnt their department. i salute you

and all others thanks for all the patrols.

That's a shame. It takes time, it really does. It took me around 3 months to become an Officer, it just requires patience. Good luck in your future endeavors.

I don't know you that much but i want to tell you one thing.
You must believe in yourself to get a Chance for Sucess. And the key for Sucess is Patience..
Think about it and your Choice.
Don't give up so easy, everyone in the SAPD had this part to wait very long for those FTO's. Train hard, work harder and you surely will be a full part of the SAPD soon!

Smokes, please dont leave like this. This is something that can be fixed easily. The SFPD is not the most active department at the moment, you are right. This is something that is being worked on, and trust me give it some more time. You know it goes both ways, I am sure the SAPD command and its staff invested alot of time into you too, we just have to be patient alright. Please re-consider this and contact me on my PM.

I don't like to get involved in these things, but here's what I'll tell you:

Don't leave, for your own good.

If you are truly interested in being a law enforcer, you will keep keeping the peace as an ARPD Officer - you gain absolutely nothing. You will continue doing the exact same thing as if you were a cadet. But you will not have training sessions, however infrequent they may, you will not have a career in SAPD, you lose all your progress, everything.

And here's the real bummer: it's a very, very selfish thing to do. Just like Anthrax said - people have invested many hours into your training, and you just give them the middle finger by resigning, and what for? You still won't gain anything.

And with that comes more consequences. If you ever apply for SAPD again, they will remember this, and they will question if there is any point in wasting time on you. And the same is if you try for FBI.

So here's a suggestion:

Work hard, study, prove the nay-sayers wrong, that you CAN and WILL pass the exam. Clearly, you've earned respect from your peers and colleagues, don't throw that away.

Smokes it's sad to see you quit like that. I used to remember when me and you worked alone on some occasions. Good luck with your future decisions.

I know poeple did try and like i posted i thank them for that. but this has been bothering me a long time. discussing it with alot of poeple.
but its always patiance i understand that. but the fact you are being handled isnt correct. you want to do something for a department youre part of.
but then you have  a feeling they think like "meh, what ever"

And what does resigning achieve? You're suddenly able to do so much more for the department? As I said before, you gain nothing by resigning, and all the patience you had that led up to this will be wasted.

I noticed you were a good officer when I first patrolled with you (not directly).

I haven't been able to see you recently, but I'm assuming that you still are. If you are having troubles with something, you are always free to PM the next in the chain (your sergeants, lieutenants, etc). Things don't get done? Forward it up the chain, if it gets to me, hopefully I can do something. I'll give you 24 hours to make 100% sure that you want to withdraw your cadetship from the academy. (please post here)

Hi Smokes,
We went to all the times, all the time we pushed through the whole process. It was so nice to go through this with you, I wouldn't done it with someone else. You always were ready for my problems! And I hope you will re-consider this again. Think really good of what you are throwing away here. Around 4/5 Months of hard work!
You can always PM or talk with me through skype or teamspeak --> samimzafari. And I will see you in-game!

Kind Regards,
SFPD Cadet Kate 'Microstar' McGarrett.

You've applied to become part of the force, that means you accept the terms and conditions of awaiting patiently and not annoy the FTOs or Command Staff members for trainings.
Keep in mind that some have waited over 3 months to finally graduate. Some may think they have the experience and skills out there, but to us - it proves nothing unless shown.

We do not graduate people just because they apparently have the skills and experience to move on. No, we observe that.

If you cannot hold patience, then by all means - goodbye. Lack of patience may affect the way you operate in the field in multiple ways. Such as leading a 207.

I am going to quote a true saying posted by Gandalf on my first resignation from SAPD.

Quote from: Ronnel link=topic=23098.msg206787#msg206787
If you resign because you wish to have a change of work then good luck.
If you resign because you feel changes are needed, you are too early.

Read it for the true words he said there, you'll come to your senses.

Let's re-think and decide yourself again you were good cadet officer but you must find something wrong yourself and fix it
I hope you back to SAPD again goodluck.

Don't make me to do this !
