I'd like to make a couple of statements while I review the evidence and before I make the conclusive post.
1. Wesley_Perry / 2. =AV=JackBauer - As me(Driver) and Dwight_Cems(Passenger) were in a car parked in Palomino Creek, Officer Wesley_Perry approaches us and asks to search the passenger for no any reason. We told him that he needs a warrant for such a thing, then he gave us two options either to step outside and do it the easy way, or he'll get the warrant and use the hard way. We denied his request until a warrant is shown.
A police officer does not require a warrant to ask someone to step out of their vehicle. He must have probable cause/a good reason, and then the law allows him to ask such things or make such demands.
He aimed a gun at an unarmed-civilian.
Once again, if he had probable cause and you refused his orders, he was allowed to point a weapon at an unarmed civilian. As the officer called in code 30 (or 'Officer in danger') backup, there apparently was a reason for him to draw his weapon.
Officers may use less lethal force on suspects that fail to surrender. However, they must not use force against unarmed civilians (in case of armed civilians opening fire, officers may open fire without suspecting).
Standing still does not necessarily mean the person is not co-operating. Maybe he's demanding to know why is he in such a situation
In case you think you are abused, the golden rule is as follows:
/gu and ask for an investigation!Unless the suspect has surrendered, less lethal force may be applied.
Before closing this case, I'd like to highlight some chatlogs.
[14:09:31] Wesley_Perry(100): Police Radio: C3/C30 backup needed at pamelo creeck, Over.
[14:09:35] Dwight_Cems(85) slightly chuckles.
From the chatlogs provided by Jack_BauerThis shows officer Jack Bauer were almost immediatly on scene after the code 30 was called. Because of this, officer Bauer had information about the situation and did not merely respond to a code 30 backup call.
[14:22:46] =AV=JackBauer(55) says: You shot and killed 2 stillstanding suspects
