San Andreas Traffic Police Eddie Pulaski speaking.
« on: October 20, 2013, 16:09:09 pm »
Good day fellow officers,

my name is Eddie Pulaski and I was a former leader of the SATP, San Andreas Traffic Police.
In the past I tried to restart the devision a few times (with different nicknames), but I admit I failed.
The reason of my failure in restarting the SATP was the fact of PC and internet problems. I couldn't play the game properly, so i was forced to quit playing.
I quitted with pain in my heart, because Argonath RPG is something personal and close to my heart. I spent years playing here with ups and downs!
This week I logged in for the first time in months (I think it might be a year). I was doubting what to do. Just driving around as a cop, without being part of a team doesn't give me a feeling of contentment. I drove around and studied the behavior of the Argonath RPG gamers anno 2013. I see the problems in traffic are not decreased, but increased! I also see that the police doesn't take special care with road safety. I see alot of routine PD cops, or FBI or special detective squads. Non which take care of traffic laws.
In the following days I will take a look on the ARPD forum, because things have changed alot I see.
I hope the ARPD gives me a chance to start up the SATP like it was back in the days and even better than it has ever been.
Back in the days I was a kid and my way of thinking was different than it is right now.
The knowledge I accumulated during the years will help me to bring back life in the world of traffic reinforcement.
I think (I am sure actually) people still like to be part of a traffic division. (Afterall, we all like those good old traffic stop videos of speeders etc on the internet).

Last but not least, I want to ask a forum moderator to change my forum name to Eddie Pulaski, I see I am not able to change that in the profile settings.

I thank you for reading my post,
and I hope traffic reinforcement will be back soon, brought to you by the SATP (c)

Regards,

Eddie_Pulaski

SAPD members should priorize roleplay and attempt to discuss when a situation happen. Coming with weapon drawn and aiming at everyone won't be tolerated.

Hey there, I'm am Commander of the closed Argonath Traffic Police. I admire your enthusiasm to get your group back and working again, but I'll have to dissapoint you - it will be hardly possible. Most of the ARPd players that have some expierence and are mature are mostly applying for SAPD, and SAPD no longer allows its applicants or members to join any unofficial divisions, which means getting people to join your division will be hard as hell to nearly impossible. This is why ARTP has closed after trying it's best to stay alive.

If the ARPD does not allow it's members to be part in any unofficial division, department or what so ever, I'll have to try and find a way to get the SATP to become official (if possible). But before all that I have to prove myself and the effectivness of the division.
Plus before I decide to even restart the SATP, I want to be sure my efforts will pay off. I restarted it in the past but failed because I didn't take account with all the downsides like time consuming, PC problems, current ARPD climate etc.

Regards

I helped you set SATP up the first time, a long while ago. However, it has since been resurrected many times but it has faded away again, an equal amount of times.

Is it not a tad naive to make an attempt to start the division, once again? And, if it's not naive, why are you so sure you will succeed this time? What will change compared to the previous attempts?

Correct Thomas. That's why I am looking into it before making a decision.
