Description of events: Today, me and Officer Bryan Archuleta pulled up to Officer Connor MacManus who had conducted a traffic stop on a trucker, prior to exiting my cruiser, Officer MacManus began to have a pretty pissed off attitude as the driver of the truck was refusing to comply. As the driver was refusing to comply I instructed him to comply with Officer MacManus's orders.  After that, the man had threatened Officer MacManus, Officer MacManus then started insulting the civilian in a very crude way, I wanted to take control of the situation but I had failed to and did not try.  After more words were spoken Officer MacManus had then started provoking the civilian into fighting him.  The man then started to walk back to his truck, causing Officer MacManus to run up and start beating the civilian very hard, the screenshots taken I am unable to post here for some reason, but I will post the logs..  No officers on duty should have done what this officer did today, if you take a look at my evidence you can tell this was assault. I do realize the civilian did provoke and be a smart ass to the officer, but the officer did not do right.
