Gang Intimidation
CSU deployed into gang hot-spots with the sole intent to make the gangs appreciate our presence and show that the SAPD is an organisation that should be respected. We had to use force during several occasions and this led to the gangs have fear towards the SAPD, which may deter them from creating more C30 situations and shootouts with Officers in the field.
