Federal Bureau of Investigation

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why is the FBI using the VCPD forums?
Unlike the Argonath FBI divisions on other servers, FBI VC:MP operates under an umbrella organization consisting of both the VC:MP VCPD and FBI VC:MP, with the respective agencies' command staffs at its head. As such, the VCPD and FBI VC:MP are effectively not two separate organizations, regardless of any resemblance to such which may manifest itself in the methods of operation.

2. What is the relation between FBI and VCPD staff?
In VC:MP, FBI Agents are allowed complete access to VCPD material, as well as the right to carry out VCPD duties, even though their FBI duties take priority. By directive of the President, all FBI Agents (with the exception of the Director, who outranks all VCPD Officers except for the Chiefs) have the right to give orders to any VCPD Officer, with the exception of the Command Staff. However, all Officers are expected to cooperate with FBI Agents as well.

3. Why is the FBI Director seen giving directives and orders to VCPD?
In VC:MP, the FBI Director is a member of VCPD-CMD HQ, or the senior VCPD Command Staff. As an HQ member, the Director has the same right to exercise decisions, as well as spearhead the development and maintenance of VCPD/FBI Staff, as the Chiefs of the VCPD. This is in addition to the FBI's givne responsibility of regulating and disposing of corrupt VCPD Officers.

4. How do I become an FBI Agent?
You do not apply for the position of FBI Agent. In VC:MP, FBI Recruits are chosen from deserving VCPD Officers. This means that if you want to become an FBI Agent in VC:MP, you must first show good progress as a VCPD Officer. Only then will you pass observation from the FBI Director and be admitted as a deserving Agent of the FBI.

5. Are there any other restrictions for getting into FBI?
Yes. FBI Agents cannot be corrupt, nor can they be members of any criminal organization. Agents are, however, allowed to be part of groups which engage in significantly low levels of illegal activity, at the most.

Updates will follow.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.
