GENERAL PROCEDURES
12.06.2023



These are general N.O.O.S.E procedures:



1. N.O.O.S.E. members must follow their sub-division procedures at any time. Those procedures are mandatory over these (general) procedures.

2. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to operate off-duty.

3. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to use weapons different from duty assigned ones, unless:
A. They are Tactical Response Unit Operatives+.
B. There is a life-threatning situation and heavy armory is required.
C. They are told otherwise by command staff.


4. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to use state / personal vehicles and police cruisers, unless:

A. They are told to do so by an operation leader or command staff.
B. The situation is life-threatning and there is no other vehicle around to use for transport to the scene.
C. For transportation to a PD to transfer to LCPD duty.


5. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to disagree with the operation leaders or the high-ranked members's orders.

6. N.O.O.S.E. members are allowed to use lethal force if:
A. They are told to do so by operation leader or command staff.
B. There is a present life-danger.
C. There is a suspect evading.


7. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to unsuspect, unless:
A. They are told to do so by command staff.
B. There are no administrators or LCPD high ranked available and an /cs is necessary.


8. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to invite someone to the department, operation or training, unless they are told to do so or a part of command staff.

9. N.O.O.S.E. members are allowed to shoot at non-suspected civilians only if:
A. They are told to do so by operation leader.
B. They are told to do so by command staff.
C. The individual is a present threat to the community or the operative and must be eliminated immediately.


10. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to do traffic stops on-duty, unless:
A. They are told to do so by operation leader.
B. They are told to do so by command staff.


11. N.O.O.S.E. members are always allowed to perform felony stops when on-duty.

12. An N.O.O.S.E. team may NOT deploy unnecessary, unless:
A. An armed patrol is organised.

13. N.O.O.S.E. members are allowed to shoot at vehicle tires only if:
A. The driver is a suspect.
B. The driver is an aider of a suspect, and there is no time to suspect them.


14. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to use LCPD / state helicopters, unless:
A. They are told to do so by operation leader or command staff
B. When there is no division helicopter available.


15. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to share information with anyone outside the security office.

16. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to return after death, unless a new roleplay has been established.

17. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to raid and search a vehicle / property of a civilian without a warrant, unless:
A. The owner is a suspect.
B. The owner is hiding a suspect inside.
C. There is a life-threatening situation.
D. The owner gives permission for it.


18. N.O.O.S.E. members are allowed to suspect a civilian ONLY IF:
A. They are refusing to comply with them.
B. They are known to be possible aiders (if found innocent after they give up, they will be unsuspected after an investigation has been done).
C. They have committed a crime.


20. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to engage in barricaded situations without Tactical Response Unit or command staff's permission.

21. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT allowed to confiscate civilian's vehicle, unless:
A. The driver / owner gives permission for it.
B. The driver has left it and no longer uses it.


22. N.O.O.S.E. members must listen to their supervisors, and must show respect when talking to them. Failing to do so will result in a severe punishment.

23. N.O.O.S.E. members are NOT supposed to start ordering other officers (freecops+) unless it is a special operation that is led by N.O.O.S.E.

24. N.O.O.S.E. members are allowed to order members of the LCPD when the N.O.O.S.E. team is in charge of an operation.
