Currently this is only open to Cadets but i will extend it to Free Officers with a Cadet application and a known interest in the force of ARPD.
Dear Cadets
Hello I’m Senior Officer Jimmy Bowling as you know some people have been saying that cadets and Officers of the ARPD are not trained well enough, well I intend on doing something about it. All cadets who have been accepted as cadets can come and post in this topic and request training. This is not to speed up your time as a cadet this is to give you an in depth training and show you all the situations, problems, and questions ARPD Officers deal with on a daily basis. I hope some cadets come forward and ask questions and are very interested in the inter working’s of the ARPD. Now as to the training I come on about an average of 3-4 hours a day on the week days on the weekends it can be up to 10-12 hours (Yes I am addicted to Argornath) I can train people if they /pm me most of the time, I am an S.F.P.D Officer so I will do trainings in the area if you want to schedule a training you can post in this topic. I will try to do as many as I possibly can. I will warn you I may not get to you for awhile if this does get to be a popular topic. If you have any questions about this you can Forum P.M. me or you can post in this topic.

Trainings
Trainings will have a list of things that I believe to be most important and to be taught most thoroughly.
1. Codes traininga. This will be a review of codes and an in depth explaining of in which situation to use a certain code.
2.
Understanding of Laws a. This will be a basic law review and some of the questions like. Is it reckless driving if you rammed a pole?
3.
Situations training a. This will go through Code 30’s 207’s and other emergency calls.
b. We will also go over small calls like pull over’s and domestic disturbances.
4. Patrol Car Usea. The more you advance in ARPD and your police life you will realize that one of the most helpful tools to
an officer is his car. You can use your car for Offensive and Defensive maneuvers
5. Weapons training a. This goes along with Situation training in the fact of what weapon to use in which situation.
b. *Example* Man pulls out a gun and aims it at you what do you do?
6. Arrest and Processing training a. How to successfully Role Play arrest and process a man and the questioning process.
All this information is in the links above and should be studied and memorized. Trainings are to be between 45min-1½ Hours. The trainer doing the training can go longer it is up to the trainer and the trainee. I will try to be as through in the trainings as possible.
Dear Officers + If you’re interested in this activity I ask only a few things. If you would like to be part of this I want to get as experienced personal as I can so if you have been an officer for more than 2-3 months or you are a Senior Officer I am interested in having you aboard the experience, please either poet on this topic or Forum Pm me. Thanks for the help. Or Just use this format in your own cadet training methods I just want the cadets to be the best educated. The only way we can achieve that is to give more than 10-20 minutes of our time to them.
Sincerely
Senior Officer. Jimmy Bowling P.S. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them. This is a work in progress I will be happy if I get one person to participate.
