A guide toward the success.

In order to be CIU detectives there are some requirements, physical and psychophysical, which help the agency to be safer, stronger and effective.
In this page we will lead you into the cadet process of the National Office of Security Enforcement and the Crime Investigation Unit which both aren't easy.
The first thing you should understand is that our recruitment is divided in different phases and every phase has its own tasks and assignments, unfortunately due to some classified informations we cannot list them all, but we will list the ones you can know in detail.

General Requirements.
Before applying you should see if you are eligible to apply.
Here's a pile of terms and rules that you should visit before applying.

A Skype account is required in order to join the National Office of Security Enforcement.
You must not have a Application for the FBI open. (It must be closed if you wish to join NOOSE).
You must use the application form provided below, otherwise your application is going to be rejected immediately and without further notice.
You must not have received police-related punishment in the last 3 weeks.
You must be an IV:MP player for at least 2 months prior to applying.
You must not be banned from any Argonath RPG server.
You must not have a large history as a criminal or belong to any criminal group in Argonath RPG, and you must obey the law at all times.
You must not contact N.O.O.S.E. staff about your application.
You must report any inactivity or name changes immediately.
You must not be a member of any criminal organisation in Argonath as a whole (IV:MP, SA:MP, VC:MP).          ,,

If you meet the requirements, you are aboard, follow me.       



Application Phase.
In the Application Phase, you confirm your interest for NOoSE, not yet CIU or TRU.
In the Application Phase, you should abide the server rules as well as the LCPD procedures as you are gonna be an official cop.
As said before, you should try to avoid fights (which include corporeal violence as well as vocal violence i.e. insults), any kind of abuse (script abuse, job abuse) and also the on-duty punishments (copbans).
Activity is important, if point one is good, the activity matters the most, you will decide to make your application process long or short depending to your activity level, if it's high your application time will be short for sure, instead, if it's low it will be long.
Another important point is the background. You should be clean, a background check will be conducted once applied, you shouldn't be part of any criminal group/clan/family/legacy. This point is gone, you can move to the next phase: NOoSE Cadet.

Cadet stage.

Once accepted into the National Office of Security Enforcement, you will be tested in some math, laws and procedures arguments. A complete physical and psychophysical check will be performed by our personal medic which ensures that the candidate has no kind of mental disease which might lead to endanger argonath citizens.
Once done, you will be picked into a division and your academy will begin.


Final words.
The Crime Investigation Unit has this long and difficult recruitment process because we want our citizens to be safe on our hands for first.
Without this process lots of incidents may happen because a detective or a tactical operative is going to have an important role in Liberty City.
With this, we encourage people to apply firstly for the Liberty City Police Department, which gives you all the basic knoweledge that you're supposed to have to join the Investigation Unit. Also, it will enhance the chances to get accepted. (Not sure, I said "enhance" for a reason)

'' It's not me  ,,

How we busted a 6 months evasive warrant.

In all the goals that the Crime Investigation Unit achieved and is continuing to do so, there's one which it put to the test our detectives.
His name is Deez Rothstein, he's been sued 3 times circa for weed and weapons dealing. In this case we busted him dealing weapons like M4A16, which is considered as war grade weapon and prohibited it's selling if not certified seller by court.

He's been also declared conscious to be selling to the first person he was gonna pay him. What if that person was a criminal? A terrorist? We can't imagine what that person could do. Fortunately we managed to bust him through the security cam of the Majestic Hotel, the location where we were and also thanks to a hidden body dashcam of our detective. The warrant was quickly sent to the district judge and it got signed in 3 days. But... It didn't go smooth as we wanted. We attempted several times to get him without using the force, but he continued to evade knowing that things could get worse. Also, in the middle of an execution, an our detective got taken as hostage into a boat and after a negotiation he was realased and secured by the Tactical Response Unit, that helps us in every warrant.


The Plan.
The plan was hard, initially, we wanted to block him inside a covered parking with one entrance and then once came in, he would get blocked by incoming stockades of the Tactical Response Unit. It didn't work as he didn't give us trust. We came to know that the target was in a boat and we decided to send 2 helicopters to patrol the sea and two undercover detectives in another boat. He wanted to reach the shores and grab a car, but, we managed to sorround him with our helicopters and incoming backup units.

Okay so, as we got permission from the court for interrogation, we head over them. We approach to them via TRU heli and with two TRU operative for security purpose. So me and the Inspector with TRU arrived to them and we saw them in a heli. At that them they also try to Evaded when we tell them to get out from the heli. When they finally step out they tried to find a car and run away but lcpd members already on the scene they block them and they kindly get out and give up. Then we take them to Noose headquarters (TRU HQ) for the interrogation. The interrogation taken up to 1-2 hours and then when the interrogation were done we taken him to the Acter industrial park and taken under custody. That was a hell of work, we had to think to a plan and... 3 plans in case the first and the second fail...

The interrogation was more a threats game. " It's not me ", this is the sentence we got repeated all the time. We tried to give him bonus in case he would reveal informations... But it didn't work, he took out several excuses or even fake informations. Fortunately the judge believed our statements and the subject got punished to 6 years of jail (( 6 minutes )) and forced to pay 15.000 fine for their crimes.  The Crime Investigation Unit also performed a raid inside his house and didn't find anything important.
The CIU will continue his important job in the community and will make Liberty City a safer place for everyone.
