U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation
Vice City - Miami Division

What is the FBI?

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is the primary federal law enforcement branch of the United States. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is an independent law enforcement body of the VCPD. Despite working with local law enforcement when required, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is an independent entity with its own hierarchy, structure, goals and duties.

Agents are trained to gather evidence and conduct covert intelligence operations. We have eyes on the city 24-7. Our pens are mightier than our swords, as with discreet and smart use of information and intelligence, we have brought criminals to their knees before the Court of Justice hundreds of times.

What are the main goals of the FBI?

The Federal Bureau of Investigation uses various methods of investigation and state of the art technology to gather information on criminals, criminal acts and establishments in the United States.

FBI does not perform police duties and generally does not involve itself in general police operations, unless those operations are related to a subject or an area of interest for the Bureau.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation's primary operational focus at all times is intelligence. Our goal is to acquire sufficient information to prosecute criminals that are charged with a federal crime in the court of law. Alternatively, the FBI may also use gathered evidence for the purpose of tracking down the flow of illegal substances and weapons in Vice City and to ensure their removal from circulation.

Requirements to join the FBI

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for patient and smart individuals able to think outside the box, with exceptional cognitive abilities. As a fact-gathering organisation, we require a lot of careful analysis, patience and creativity in approaching various tasks that our agents face day to day. Additionally, such nature of the Bureau also requires its members to be coherent with their use of the English language, as paper work is a big part of the day-to-day duty. A suitable candidate must be able to file and organise various facts and evidence gathered.

What is more, the FBI deals with classified and sensitive information and therefore is very selective of possible candidates. People with previous excessive criminal record, ties to criminal organisation or questionable individuals inside and outside the state of Vice City, or subjected to any other factors that would shed even a slightest doubt on the candidate's abilities to work with classified information are not allowed to work with the Bureau.

Career Opportunities

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is currently actively recruiting capable individuals for the Vice City - Miami Division. There are two job opportunities the Bureau has to offer to interested and suitable individuals.

• FBI Agent - Job ID #0001: Agents work in the main branch and core of the Bureau. These agents work on the streets and are often seen working with respective uniforms and insignia. These agents focus on marked duties, and the core of the job - intelligence and evidence gathering, investigation and operation coordination, recruitment, surveillance and other general tasks of the Bureau. All officially registered members of the Bureau hold a minimum official rank of FBI Recruit.

• Clandestine Informant - Job ID #2551: Covert operations. Identities of #2551 personnel, along with their operations, are classified, protected by law and only available to the Bureau Command. #2551 personnel operate using methods of investigation that require their identity to remain totally secret. Anyone working as a #2551 operative may be an Agent in the Bureau, but potentially a civilian as well. This job provides the possibility for those with considerable previous criminal record to be granted amnesty with a possibility of full-time employment in the Bureau or VCPD in the future.

How to Join?

In order to join the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, you must submit an application with the form provided below to the e-mail (Forum PM) of any Special Agent or above. The application process is discreet and your confidentiality is guaranteed.

Remain patient while the application is being processed. Constant unnecessary inquiries regarding a candidate's application status will lead to denial.
