Questions about SWAT and FBI
« on: December 20, 2007, 12:53:48 pm »
Hey,

I just read so much about FBI and SWAT, that i wanna know, what they are...
That's what i know:
* Not like CIA
* Can run from LS to SF back to LV
* SWAT is for best offercer fighters, FBI is for best officers

But now:
* Who is the chief / commander of the SWAT and FBI team?
* How can we join?
* Who is already member? (i heard it were the montana's who take the possition of FBI)
* Why can all officers take a FBI/SWAT suit, even when they were a bad officer?

Thx for reading

Thank you for your interest tovenaarke,

FBI is an elite police group, which consists of professional roleplayers. FBI's tasks are to defend the United States of Argonath from terrorism and other organized attacks. Therefore FBI's work is based more on investigation of big crimes against the USA and helping to prevent these crimes from happening. FBI can also participate to international manhunts in San Andreas and Vice City.

SWAT is needed for tough situations. SWAT members work normally in the police departments, but when they are needed they meet each other, change gear and plan tactics. SWAT is usually needed in difficult hostage situations etc.

As mentioned, both of these groups are for elite police, which means that their members have first served a respected career in the normal police force.

Hopefully this answered your questions. Anything else? Feel free to ask.

Yea, i'm still intressted in FBI (i'm not fight person, so SWAT does intressed me less).

I like the investigation ect.

But how can we join?
* do we need to play just a long time?
* does our chiefs give the advice to go to SWAT/FBI?
* does Chiefs (who were they?) of the SWAT/FBI ask to join, or do we make an apply?

Thx for answers Kaltsu

Well the FBI and SWAT aren't very operational at the moment, as we're doing some major changes to ARPD currently.

Basically you should have a long and respected career as a normal police officer, before you can join FBI. When officers feel that they might be ready to join FBI, they can request transfer. You can also ask some people to be your official recommenders.
If FBI sees some good potential in you, they might invite you to the FBI.

But I don't advise to hurry with the transfer requests as the FBI isn't fully operational yet.
Better just concentrate on the police officer work at least for now.

I must agree with Kaltsu here, FBI is not yet operational. Actualy, FBI is working to adapt with the actual situation and the integration in ARPD. FBI is on invitation only and should be operational maybe around next week, but we can't tell yet. Actualy, I would also add to Kaltsu answer (which is very complete by the way), that FBI will chose by itself, and that only if a transfer need is open, agents will be allowed to apply. In other case, such demands will probably be denied. And yes, we can invite as Kaltsu said.

On the comment that they are not fully operational : In fact, FBI isn't almost operational at all. You might see some FBI agents around, but we are actualy working at putting the basic all back together  so for the moment, we work to get set up. Recruiting will happen later, if needed.
