I would go with them. Your always goign to pay a price when it comes to boosting your PC's performance.

The memory upgrade looks to be made just for that type of computer, and you can never go wrong with Nvidia.

The video card isn't too bad, but try to get some DDR3 memory instead.  DDR3 is already pretty cheap.  Search around on NewEgg for some.  Well, that depends on whether your motherboard supports DDR3.  If it doesn't, stick to DDR2 as you chose.  But try to get the highest frequency possible, as it does make a bit of a difference.  Also, why buy a Pentium 4?  If your budget can, squeeze a little more, because a Pentium 4 is an extremely old processor.  I'm running a Pentium 4, and in all honesty, it isn't that bad, but we have to face that it's rather old.

Alrighty then, understood.  Then I'd take a hint that your PC does not support DDR3.  In that case, do as I said and try get the highest frequency of DDR2 RAM possible.  Just ensure your motherboard can support the frequency you choose.

Pentium 4...  :hit:

Uh.. I would buy a whole new configuration instead. Pentium 4 is really not enough, even with3.2 GHz. Single cores are done.
Try to get at least a core 2 duo on 2.8-3.0 GHz.

Prefer ATI above nvidia. Price/quality is better.

At least 3GB ddr2 or 2GB ddr3 (if supports) but that also depends on the operating system you have.
I advice buying Windows 7 32-bits (Home Basic is good enough, if you want more options, you will need professional or enterprise. If you want all programs, you need Ultimate, but thats gonna cost you a lot). With windows XP you might get a problem with memory addressing with the 32-bits version(above 3 gb memory), (only buy windows 7 when you have upgraded your processor and memory, or it will fail massively).

Thanks Car :)

Hold up! No one answer here unless you have worked specifically on a Dell that old! I know for a fact what is and isn't compatible from my hell-bent experiences with my own!

Atunzuman, if the video card is PCI, (not PCI-E / PCI Express), and you have a free PCI slot, that should work just fine assuming your power supply can handle it. As for the RAM, assuming that is the same style you have in your computer now, that should work just fine. Be very careful with upgrading a Dell though. They don't tell you or provide you with ANY info on it, but they use proprietary parts to prevent people from upgrading so you are forced to go back to them when your parts break, which they usually will. That's where they make all their money when they sell you those super cheap computers.

Good luck. They don't make any. Dell PSU's are wired in a custom order. If you plug your own standard one in there, you will fry either the motherboard, the PSU, something else, or a combination of all of the above.

*Sigh*...This is why I tell people not to buy Dells...
