Sounds like a wikipedia answer, but yes thats what it is. My dog stepped on the power strip and my computer turned off. Now my onboard NIC Cards which I have two of fail to work. They show up but they don't reconize something is pllugged into them. Even though I have a secured connection confirmed to be working
