Retirement
« on: April 28, 2010, 20:17:51 pm »
To whom it may concern;
I, Lieutenant Jacob Michael Emerson, hereby resign from the Los Santos Police Department, a division of the Argonath Roleplay Police Department. I have served faithfully for a long time and I have ranked highly, and I was one of the only people to follow each rank in consecutive order. I have met a lot of friends through here and I have enjoyed my time greatly. I wish to publicly thank everyone that has helped me through my endeavors and I hope the policies and decisions I have created and set forth for the Los Santos Police Department have and will prove to be effective and good. I have a lot of people to thank, but I am only going to take the time to name two. I wish to thank Vincent Vice, as he was the one who helped me succeed, helped me progress, and taught me how to be a good leader. I hope I have helped him the same. I also wish to thank Rory Anstruther, a good enemy, but a better friend. He made me do my best with my group SACS, and provided friendly compeition to help me proceed further and move on. He was also a key player in helping me learn something new about myself and become more honest in general. I wrote a resignation before I was fired, but turns out someone deleted it, so I have written another one. Again, thank you all for creating a great playtime experience.
Sincerely Yours,
For the last time Lieutenant Jacob Michael Emerson

You are not the only one to go (/have gone) like this way. But as you're banned, you cannot read this.

Anyways, we indeed lost a great player and an even better leader. Thanks for what you've done (until the recent event) and I hope you come back sometimes.

I understand him. Much more than anybody else. Much more than any of you know.

:ps: I have a feeling that it's kind of an undercover operation or something like that. I can't believe that two high ranked people were fired like that.

Nah SACS worked some stuff out and we are back.

Back on topic however, i want to say that JEmerson is the reason i played on Argonath. When i first started SA:MP i was looking for a server. We officially met on a different server, well Argonath was down and he invited me to SACS after seeing me work in Argo. JEmerson helped me get to my Officer rank and taught me everything i know about SAMP and Argonath. Despite what people think of him now, he was a kind and hardworking guy. He spent his time and money running a group, for people he has never even met. It takes dedication and commitment to be a leader like that. Being able to connect and socialize with people you have never met is a special kind of friendship, you can forget about the real world and just talk to them about anything. SACS is a second family to me, JEmerson created that family and because of that i'm glad to call him a friend.
JEmerson, as much as i never really showed it, was my inspiration to work hard in the ARPD. I would always think about how cool it would be to be him and have all those powers and such. My goal now is to reach where he had been in the ARPD. I dont want him to have to leave with such a negative reason, and i hope that everyone else can see the good in him, even though what he did was wrong.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

That quote represents JEmerson really well, SACS went through a few hard times, and he was always there to keep the group moving and helping us rise back up when we had fallen. Without him, alot of great members of the Argonath Community may never have come or stayed.

Jake, We will miss you, and we will never let the things you did wrong, cloud our vision of the things you did right.

- Signed

Jake, you were a great friend, although you can't read this, I was heavily surprised when you hacked the SASD sites. I could've never thought you were capable of this, along with Scott. You taught me a lot here in Argonath.....

Good luck in your future, Jake.

Give the man his dignity and let him say goodbye without insulting him, No flaming is needed.
Though he may of did something dishonorable, He was still an honored member of the SAPD. So lets treat it as such.

Goodbye Jake, Good luck in any future endeavors.

He wrote a resignation and then deleted it himself, as he didn't want to resign. Then he ended up getting fired. ;)
