Colt 45 is real bad, it does really low damage, really short range, gangster aiming, bad accuracy, overall it sucks.
Deagle is the best pistol, does high damage, short range, cop aiming, good accuracy, this is the best pistol.

You don't expect deagle having a range of a sniper..

If you add 9mm as normal cop weapon lots of ppl will stop being be a cop, because they will be unable to take out someone, not even do a scratch.

IRL cop dont use 9mm like gangsters, as i said, there is NO way to make cops shooting 9mm like in single player.

Also, IRL not everyone is 50 cent... it is more realistic take down someone with 3 shots than with 10 shots, like 9mm

9mm is actually effective IF you are in a team, which means you using Colt 45 while your partners are using Desert Eagles. Specially if someone starts running, it's pretty good to use it.

But no, issued by default is not viable. 9mm is vulnerable if you ain't backed up.

Why don't you buy your own 9mm. They only cost about 180 - 200 bucks per gun and 1 or so buck per bullet.

9mm has the advantage of mobility, plentiful ammunition, and a large clip. But it takes a helluva lot of ammo to take down a single guy.

D Eagle trades all that for stopping power, about 10 - 20 times more punch than a 9mm shot. Taking about 4 - 5 placed shots to bring a guy down.

In the end, it's all about skill with the weapon, if you're skilled enough to fight with the D Eagle, you can take on even a punk with a Combat. Not that I've seen anyone who can do that so far.

But for me, no. The Eagle stays.
