[Resignation] Retirement of Senior Officer TinMan
« on: July 21, 2010, 23:30:21 pm »
Name: TinMan
Rank: Senior Officer
Police Department: LSPD
Duration on Resignation: Forever and Leaving ArgonathRPG

Hello, my name is TinMan and I have played ArgonathRPG for almost a year now. I have decided that it would be best for me to quit playing SAMP. It was very hard to make this decision not only because I had Senior Officer it was the fact what will I be doing now. I’ve decided that I should be outside more than being inside and playing video games all day. The outside should open more doors for success in my future life. This game was not only a game though it was a great simulation that was good. It wasn’t just SAMP it was the best role-play server ever. In my future, I would like to go into law enforcement. Not only it was the best role-play server, it brought me a lot of great friends.

When I first started playing, I started as a cop on August 1, 2010. On my first day, I had to study the commands because I didn’t know how it worked. I thought /cuff <id> was to make the person freeze, or /jail <id> was to jail the suspect on the spot. It took me a long time to get use to it. Second day, I was still struggling on how to use the commands yet nobody seemed to help me. On the third day, I got used to the commands and made my first arrest. I was really excited because I got the 600 dollar award and managed to catch the suspect. After that day it seemed like it just got better, I was doing better in traffic stops, pursuits, and better role-player. Then I had to get my passport test and I passed on my first time I took it. After that, I had a lot of police skins to choose from and more ammo. I thought I was a real officer I had that 300 Desert Eagle, 300 Pepper, and Night Stick.  I applied on the ARPD and it took 3 months before I was accepted as Officer.  I have been a free cop for 2 months, applicant for 3 months, a cadet for 2 weeks, an Officer for 3 months, and a Senior Officer for 3 months. I’ve been a cop for a consecutive 11 months, 2 weeks.

As the first few weeks went by, I met a guy named [SACS]Tino. He was the medic for that sub division, and he offered for me to join SACS so I made my application. During that time, I asked when I will get a promotion in game. They said that SACS was just a sub division and told me to go to ARPD. I was just a newb at that time and didn’t really know better. After about 3-4 months or so, I was accepted into SACS. At that time, they were shut down. Instead of staying, I decided to join SASD or ACSD. The only thing that I like about ACSD is their Radio Transmit Only and I have good friends in there.
I would like to say my farewells to the following people:

Martin Riggs: I would like to thank you for being a good friend. I remember the first day of patrolling with you. You owned the light house and drove a buffalo, I liked patrolling with you. Also, that was the day when you and Sarah were going out. I still think you two are going out. :D

Scott Kenney: I liked that old name Sergeant Scott Kenney. Lol! You were a great person and you’ll probably not hear my laugh again unless you make special arrangements.

Jake Emerson: You were always gone or something, but you made a good team with SACS. I wish that it was still up and we played ArgonathRPG. I would just like to say Thank you.

Ben Samiir: I am sorry for leaving you behind because of the S.R.U. But I do really think it is best for me to go outside than play SAMP all day. You are the best driver in the whole SAMP. I never seen anybody ever drove as good as you. I would like to thank you for being a good Captain.

Vincent Vice: You are the best Dept. Chief you remain active on your duties. I would like to thank you for being helping me out whenever I had a question.

King Kirby: You always make me laugh anything that you say I just laugh. When I first met you, you were kind of mean but then I realized you were being sarcastic. HEHAHEHEHAHE. I hope you can stay out of trouble.

Frank[CS] (I can’t remember name): This person here helped me in training for SACS, I wish to thank him for his dedication and generosity.

Plam Knight: Thank you for the training quiz thing for the big cadet test. Also, you have an awesome voice and I do wish that you can say “I am level 76 and I play World of War Craft. Also, I have a level 67 semi shield.” If you say that 2 times, I will pay you 100k in game cash.

Mark Sumners: I remember when you first started out. I helped you whenever you first started out in the ARPD. I am glad that you are independent and have your own stuff in the ARPD.

Gorre: I hope that you can find your way through the ARPD. I know that I didn’t help you that much, but I hope it is just a start. You have made it a little ways.

Boozman: You are a good LSPD leader, and one day I know you will end up being Captain of LSPD. Keep up the great work.
Hank Rafferty: I had fun patrolling with you that one day a long time ago. Good luck on your chief for LVPD. Thank you.

Lennie Brisco: The only thing that is kool is that we had our birthday on our same day.  Keep up the good work in FBI.

Lush: You were the one that kept people closer together. You probably stopped a lot of fights. Loool. Goodluck.
If you think that I left you off just say below but these are my last words.

Good bye.   :cop:

Signed,
Retired Senior Officer TinMan

On a serious note. It's sad to see you go, but I am happier to see you focus on your life. Good luck  :cop:

 Aww... I don't want to see you go, but you do have a good point with going outside and stuff...

Haha yeah... I remember those good ol' days too. Just a helpless little nooblett who didn't know what to do. Then a man of tin came along and helped out. If it weren't for you, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have what I have now in Argonath.

Yeah so?  Not In-Game or anything, but...Yeah you get the picture

Nevertheless, Sad to see you leave TinMan.  I'll never forget your annoying laugh, or your annoying self.  Or your stupidity....Unknowledgement of many, if not all words.  Your abrupt way of not wanting to learn anything given to you....Or, even your impatientness....But, yeah I'll never forget any of the things that annoyed me the most about you :D

I will miss everyone. That doesn't mean I won't come into vent once in awhile. Anyhow, people kept asking me "Why I am leaving Argonath?" Simply because I want to go outside and do things like that. I was fully addicted to ArgonathRPG, I just had to stop playing. It was overcoming my life, so I decided to just quit. I hope this really makes sense, and I will miss you all. I may stop into teamspeak once in a while, but I just have to stop playing SAMP. It is overcoming my life especially when school will be coming soon.

Whenever school starts kids are going to ask me; "What have you been doing this whole summer?" What am I suppose to say, I played on the computer all summer? I actually hate that entire question.

Hopefully, I can be a better person, live a better life, and have fun with the enviroment I already have. The only problem is that I live out in nowhere, so I can't hang out with friends. I guess I will be alone. Atleast I can ride my bike, fishing, and doing other creative things outside in the world.  :cop:

Thankyou and these are my last words:

Goodbye.

Retired Senior Officer,
TinMan.

'Cause Tincan is waaaaaay to cool to get it removed.

Good luck Tincan in whatever you do. :) Maybe stop in once a month or so.
