voted no lol.
I mean you can simply go at SFPD, or LVPD. Get a patrol car back to LS, and continue patrol :)

There should be an automatic respawn for cars after like 30-60mins.

Or you could just park/ respawn the car. Simple enough.

I cant drive SFPD or LVPD cars. They have bad handling and LVPD has a harder accelorator.

I believe the SFPD vehicle has exact the same handling as LSPD, LVPD cars are different tough.

Yet PD cars are laying out enough. Spread all over LS i'm sure you will find at least 1 car within 5 minutes.

I would like to add to what I said... I have to patrol in LS cars or I might get introuble through the department that I work for. I disagree with that. The SFPD roll over too easy than the LS cars. They have a higher roof than the LSPD cars.

Not just the fact that you need to find a car. Other cops steal your vehicle mostly are freecops. Like during a traffic stop, they interupt you by stealing it, so it's like what the f**k just give me a break. I'm tired of other cops stealing my patrol car. Then I /pm <id> them and they say...Oh you weren't in it. It's really annoying. Simple solution to this problem is to have our own police department cars.

SFPD cars have a higher coded suspension then LSPD, better for hills etc but will roll over easier as a result.

What SafetyMoose says maybe correct, but I can pursue a suspect in SF with LVPD cruiser. However, climbing up a slope with no speed does take time in lvpd cruiser though.

It's a good idea :P. Often I get carjacked during a pursuit by another Officer , cause his car exploded.. And he doesen't even pick me up , drives away.. Pisses me off.

What you need is some sort of 'rental' system where you can temporarily own a Police Car while on duty.

I know you all see it as "Forget the Freecops" Who cares?
But some people want to have a cop car, whether spawning at there house, or at the PD, they're own color and they're own Car.
So noone can jack them, leaving them car-less, or if they die and they're car blows up, and they spawn at there house, far from a car, they have a cop car right there.
I see it as that, but i'm sure my opinion won't effect this decision.
Regards,
Jacob Schamens

I see most of the time in LS, There are 0 cars there or Just a couple Bikes and Motercycles. This is my Idea, We can have every SAPD Officer that WANTS one and give them a Personal car with a /carlock, It would solve this. No cars in LS, All cops have a car that they can drive. Dont have a flame war in this topic, No trolls allowed on this Topic.

Thanks

Signed,
Senior Officer Badandy

Go to LVPD, SFPD, DPD, FCPD or APPD for cars then. There's many police cars on the server, and most of them are not used at all.

Go to LVPD, SFPD, DPD, FCPD or APPD for cars then. There's many police cars on the server, and most of them are not used at all.
Reasons:
1.)
All of those cars aren't very good. The LSPD is the best car for the handling and good acceleration.
The SFPD has the worst handling because it rolls over easily, and they have good acceleration.
The LVPD cars have bad handling and they have too fast acceleration.
-So the LSPD is the best car for me.
2.)
Under the LSPD, we can't patrol in other cars only in SFPD and LVPD.

You can't just say find another car, so the best solution is the main motion.

So you're saying if DPD Officers catch a suspect in a DPD (LVPD) cruiser, we have more skill than someone in an LSPD cruiser?  :D

Going back on-topic, I do not really support this idea.. I know this isn't RL, but people do not own PD cars IRL, and sometimes have to go on a bike or walking patrol. I recommend walking patrols by the way, they are so awesome it is unbelievable!
You don't need to be in a PD car all the time, and if there is no PD cars you have a couple of reasons:

- Either all are being used, in which case there is more than enough people patrolling anyway
- Or some are scattered about, in which case going on a walking patrol with a partner means you may find one and do the PD a favour :D

As a DPD Officer, I often go on bike patrols, or use the Police Rancher (with a partner on a bike, as there is only two seats), because the cruisers always disappear first. When we are doing organised patrols, we often have 3 in a vehicle, as we have a limited supply of cruisers, so maybe you should try asking if anyone has 2 spare seats, so you can hop in too!

I mean, the possibility of getting your own PD car is a good thing for some people, but it should be available to all of the ARPD in San Andreas, not just the SAPD. If you're willing to buy one, and fill up a car spot, then carry on, but it shouldn't be freely given to the SAPD, nor restricted to the SAPD.

We could, but that would mean taking that up with Hank, Pancher and Gandalf as they've established quite the opposite.
