For future reference, do not say something as "No, you cannot use it.

" in a provocative sense if you don't want a reply. Please cut the off topic here guys, and keep to speaking of the SAPD logo.

Great logo. Not a fan of the motto though, as technology does not really apply across all of SAPD...

Would be nice if the word "Roleplay" could be used somewhere. Could not think of a reasonable motto myself though

Then we shouldn't even be using the phrase 'Police Department' to describe all of this. For legal reasons.

1. Police Department is not a copywritten phrase. It is two general words used to describe a law enforcement group.
2. My classes' motto is copywritten and owned by the academy and our class, so legally I can't let you use it. It's nothing personal, I'm just not allowed to.

Again, it's a legal issue...and yes, they would sue because it's for a Law Enforcement academy. Like Kirby said, this is silly. Why can't you just accept that I said don't use my class' motto and move on?

Hank: I like "Commitment To Safety And Service", but I couldn't decide so I ended up voting for "Leading the Way to a Safer Community", since it's a bit more unique. What did you have in mind?
