lspd
« on: May 06, 2008, 19:15:56 pm »
just to be sure:

everyone knows lspd, and next to lspd you got the basement but before you reach it you drive through a parking place,

well there is a guardpost there with stop on it,

but is it cops only area? so all civilians also have to leave that place and not only basement?

and if so: can you sus them for ignoring when you ask them too leave? or even sus them for being at governement property?

The only civilan that can go inside is a cop going on duty and leaving his car there. This is the LSPD parking lot and is only for police employees (a.k.a cops) ...

If you ask a civilian to leave and he doesn't - suspect him for 'tresspassing'. Make sure that you have asked him to leave atleast 2 times. If he is not a cop going on/off duty - he has no work there.

then 1 think suprises me,

i had 1 player today lill and something behind, claims to be an old player saying it isnt cop only place,

so i  ask polo he said it is cops only,

and then i ask cbf for it, and he tells me it isnt cops only

so on 1 side we got CBF, someone who shouldnt lie i think

and on other side we got tovernaarke and polo who i both trust

Now you send a PM to Hank or Trix and ask them. That will surely settle the 'argument' :)

It probably should be cops only but as no-one is told in any form outside the game then it would be unfair to order civilians out an even suspect them.

Its more a matter of gameplay than rules on this one.

There are far worse crimes getting carried out on the San Andreas streets to have to worry about a little bit of trepassing.  Any cops using this is on is obviously bored or lazy or even worse a money grabber...

a crime is a crime, if you would go inside cops area in real-life they would get to you too,

so of course there are worser things but why are there speed controls then? they are not bad too,

or ramming isnt such bad too

you shouldnt allow to get civilians in restricted areas, or else you just fine them for it when they dont leave if you ask,

and if they dont pay fine sus them for cop ignoring, or if he runs evading cops

Read the first line of my post...

And yes if this was real there would be signs and barriers etc to stop them as well, and we would have every cop having to do a multi page report on each crime they stop.., lots doing just paperwork and filing... that real life not a RP game... there is a difference and its the word GAME.

It's all a matter of gameplay balance and not takign certain things too far as it could be considered abuse as these 'no go' areas are NOT advertised and if they get advertised as such it will have to be agreed by server seniors which I personally doubt very much due to this gameplay issue.

following real-life stuff would be too bad,

but this things aer not too be allowed, just to drive in cop place at a pd isnt something too allow,

but  things aer stopping at traffic lights and all that is going too far

only officers open it doesnt really work, those guys got to do other things too, but its good that it is only cop,

but the gate will be destroyed by all cops driving in anyway
