SAPD Leadership Plan Idea
« on: April 12, 2011, 01:36:30 am »
SAPD Chief Leroy Hudson
LSPD Captain Ben Samiir
SFPD Captain Jimmy Bowling
LVPD Captain Nicholas Baker
LSPD Lieutenant EliteTerm
SFPD Lieutenant Steve Platokk
LVPD Lieutenant Swig

My idea to have just three Police Departments to cover each City and surrounding County.
Each City and County would be commanded by a Captain and assisted by a Lieutenant.
All Sergeants, Senior Officers and Officers would be divided equally into three groups.

I've noticed with the following promotions that there are now FOUR Captains and only one Lieutenant.

I highly doubt the SAPD will give up DPD.

It's a nice idea, though, man. Keep them coming. This one may sort of already be in use, but it's unique ideas that can make things better in ARPD, and in Argonath itself! :cop:

The Government has clearly stated that DPD is and will always be an department of SAPD, and not something we give up.
About the Captains/Lieutenants question, even though its only one Lieutenant now, dosen't mean we will be replaced? :)

Well there will be more Lieutenants in the near future. Possibly 2 per department if every thing goes well. Regarding DPD i doubt it will be closed down no matter how much inactive it may seem.

Personally untill SAPD can be fully be active with its original member count back in 2010, a ONE department will be a good solution to fix the current inactive departments that may seem non operational.

I'm against having too many Lieutenants.
As I said before, more Lieutenants means less Sergeants and Officers on the streets.
Not everyone actually DOES their Role, it seems EVERYONE is a 'beat cop', even the Chief goes out on patrol alone.

It's not that the DPD is inactive, I dont think that it even is.
It just seems to me that the DPD isn't needed as it's role can easily be added to other departments.
Rather than a 4th department to cover the Counties, have the other departments handle it.
You'd have a choice then to patrol in the City if the Counties are clear.

I agree with the idea of actually removing the titles of LSPD, SFPD and LVPD.
They could be replaced by refering to them as 'Stations' than as Departments.

I dont think DPD will be removed because one person doesn't want it to be there :\. Besides the way SAPD is currently is fine.

Not agreed. The previous Chiefs left behind a mess. It's obviously not as bad as it could be, but it's still a mess regardless. Their inactivity, amongst other things, let a lot of problems arise just prior to their resignations. The new Chief has quite a bit of work to do.

Well, removing DPD isn't a very good idea, its a very nice department to me but adding S.W.A.T would be great too..

No Offence, but I am not going to move my ass from my desk in DPD

By the way, Swig is a Captain, so I guess you have to reorganise this 'Plan' of yours.
