It clearly states in the consitituon that to help the police you will be required to be on duty, however that does not mean we dont appreciate a civilian helping an officer in danger. Nevertheless this causes confusion when you actually murder someone in the process of helping an officer.

If the situation is bothering you, then do not be afraid to drop names of SAPD officers involved and request a logcheck (find a free manager). This way we can examine the logs to see who was at faults of either non roleplay and the non reasonable player. Accusing the whole department (SAPD) and being unhappy when someone calls you "Mr fireman" will not get you anywhere except some arguments.

Although you might have had good intentions into making a legitimate post, when i read this its shows a frustrated young man with alot of accusation, anger is not the way to start a dialogue. Try to stay professional, calm and be prespective in your post if you want co-operation or understanding of other agencies and not babble about being called "mr fireman" surely not everyone including me knew you were a captain in ARFD.
Ok, where to start. Like I said before I understand I had to go to jail that is not the issue. The issue is the lack of respect from SAPD as a whole to ARFD. Radio calls are unanswered, names are called, flaming, the list goes on. It's not the fact that I can't provide names however it is not one single person, it's not two people, it is multiple people. I find that VERY disrespectful "Mr. fireman", especially after I identified myself. Ok so you may not know in game that I am the Captain of ARFD, however after I identify myself. The disrespectful/ provoking is not needed. It was clear that in that role play he was just doing it to provoke an argument. Chief, I don't think yourself would like to be called "Mr. Cop" by official ARFD members. Look I made this topic because it is not just now, it has been on going. Like the Chief Schappell said, it has been going on for a long long time. It's not needed. I would never speak to a high ranking, even low ranking member of SAPD like that.

They ignore your call?Well they are missing a good roleplay
They call you names/provoke?/report is your friend
If a ARPD officer does anything to you then even though ronnel specified SAPD outrank ARPD we dont just go around punishing every ARPD we see breaking regulations, If they break a server rule report them or else try to teach them for a change will you?SAPD officers are expected to be over this kind of stuff, if your dark blue names do anything to you please Send a PM to Leroy or File a report or report to admins if it is a server violation.
If a ARPD disrespects you, well we cant do anything about them.If a SAPD disrespects you then go ahead and file a complaint.
Dont frame the whole SAPD because one or two of them are doing wrong.
Excuse me, but no. Don't twist Ronnel's words around. He said "bullshit" to your post because it was incorrect. He never said nothing could be done about ARPD officers disrespecting users, hence his reaction.

I understand why everyone thinks the "Mr. Fireman" thing isn't a big deal, and to a certain degree it's not if the user doesn't know better, but when they begin purposely saying it to provoke and taunt a user to make fun of the fact that their FD rank isn't added to /rank, that's when it's going too far. As Gandalf stated previously, he doesn't want us to have in-game ranks because he doesn't want us to fall into the corrupt "I have a better rank than you so I must be better" attitude that ARPD has unfortunately fallen victim of over the years, (and no, I'm not blaming specific people or any leadership). That doesn't mean that ARFD shouldn't be treated with respect, as should any other player. James brought up a good point. How would you like it if you were the Police Chief and someone purposely started calling you "Mr. Cop" all the time just to taunt you, and there was nothing you could do about it? Name-calling with the purposeful intent to anger someone is considered provoking, which is also disrespect.

ARPD, I'm sorry, but I just don't see the attitude change that you are speaking of. You all are polite here on the forums most of the time, which is much appreciated, but when it comes to in-game work where no one can monitor it or do anything about it, MANY, MANY of you turn it around and act like ARFD is worthless. I will admit that some of you have attempted to fix this and roleplay with ARFD and respect it's ranks, which is great progress from where we were 2 years ago, but damnit, just because ARFD isn't as large as ARPD doesn't mean it's worth anything less. I ****ing founded ARFD with the intent to bring a new form of roleplay to the users that wanted it, and so far it has been a great success internally, despite the large lack of support from the overall community at times. My passion is police work, yet still to this day I defend ARFD because it pisses me off that people can't simply get along with a group of people wearing a uniform and spraying water on a fire or assisting in medical calls. It's not like they are out running around and shooting at you. They aren't your competition...they do a completely different job. They aren't criminals. They are here to assist you! So why can't you people get along? Use this topic as a chance to bring up your issues and personal feelings so we can get this crap out in the open and cleared up once and for all, because I'm honestly sick and tired of it. Two years is waaaaayyyyyy too long to be picking fights or starting issues between groups that should be working together. Hell, even the server rules are against what has been happening over the last few years, and still no one cares. That's pretty sad if you ask me. Let's get this **** together and figure out what it is that's really bugging you people...and I'm asking to hear from everyone, not just ARPD, or just ARFD. Civilians too.

I am both ARPD and ARFD, and so is Hiro and we both are respected, it all depends on peoples attitude towards one another. You can't have two bad eggs and expect them to taste good.

You are both respected in ARPD, which is why you are respected when you do other jobs. You are both fairly well known in the community, which gives you that advantage. If you had both stayed strictly as ARFD, you would see the issues we have, just as you did back when you were only that. You have to admit that ARFD members shouldn't have to become official SAPD just to get respect :P

When I call Cops Mr. Cop, they don't mind.

When you identify yourself as Captain, people do not believe you as they think you are pretending to have a rank in the same way that I could say 'I am teh chief of Burger Shtos'

This is why I have always supported Scripted rank support for ARFD

For your information, it is between ARFD and the SAPD

ARFD = Argonath RPG Fire Department
SAPD = San Andreas Police Department / ARPD.
I'm fairly certain we all know the difference, but obviously you don't.

ARFD=Argonath RPG Fire Department
SAFD=San Andreas Fire Department, an official division within ARFD
ARPD=Argonath RPG Police Department
SAPD=San Andreas Police Department, an official division within ARPD

SAPD isn't SAPD/ARPD. ARPD is SAPD+ARPD.

Regardless of these facts, that has nothing to do with the situation at hand. Quoting Ronnel, it's bullshit that nothing can be done about this. I've been dealing with it since 2009 and I've made countless topics here. It shouldn't take 2 years for this community to recognize that respect should be given between roleplay groups and players, regardless of their status, and whether they be official or not.
Nexxt was referring to where the person put "ARPD(Cadet+)...they would be SAPD, not ARPD.

I had a discussion about something like this today, when a civilian called a Lieutenant an Officer. I acted disgusted (as evil as I am) and he thought I was serious...teehee.
You are not called things like Mr. Fireman out of disrespect, but simply of misunderstanding and generalisation. It is not causing offence, like a civilian calling a Lt an Officer or Cop is not disrespect. Its just a general term

Well after I told him who I was and he continued to call me "Mr. Fireman," just to provoke. Then it is to be disrespectful. Look like I said before. I want to work together with the police. I want to have a good relationship, yes like in real life we can have that little I face danger all the time and YOUR the hero little competition. However in real life (please don't say this is a game not real life, I know that) everyone is respectful to each other. Like I said before we are all emergency services, in the long run working for one goal. Safety and security of the public. So why should we bump heads all the time. We need to work together. Something else I would like to add real quick. See a fire engine with myself in it lights and sirens. Please move, I only use my codes when rolling to a call, I don't abuse them. If you are not code for god sake please move! Lol anyways the point of this topic is I would like a better relationship with SAPD/ARPD just police in general. We need to work together. This is me reaching out asking for change. If you have an issue with ANY SAFD officials, please make a report. I personally will handle it. I am working on reforming SAFD from the inside out, this is the out reach.

I abslutely agree Captain. If someone is in the way, and there is a fire truck or ambulance shouting through the megaphone to move, then they should move. Irrelevant who the person is, if the Fire Brigade need to be somewhere and the other person doesn't, then the Fire Brigade should take priority.
Good luck with all the reforming, I support what you are saying.

Thank you for the support Sr. Officer Blake. You are right to say if anyone is driving. However I understand that sometimes we get volunteers abusing, just like you guys do sadly. Anyways, thank you again for the support, I hope to work to you around in game(on good circumstances however).

That's ARPD's fault that they cannot get along with each other. Other groups shouldn't be subject to ARPD's issues.

You know what, I'm adding ARFD to that committee in the other topic...

I'm fairly certain we all know the difference, but obviously you don't.

Stop thinking you know it better.
I said SASD (and explaination) / "slash" ARPD. So what's me explaining that ARPD is within the SAPD?

Well maybe because ARPD is NOT within SAPD. SAPD is part of ARPD.

Theres a misunderstanding here guys!
Cpt Schappell, Nexxt is not saying that the ARPD is within the SAPD...he is asking you how you came to the conclusion that he said that on his older post.

Just thought I'd lend a hand   ;)
