SA:PD Application - TommyT
« on: August 01, 2008, 14:06:30 pm »
Nick used when on police duty: TommyT
Age: 16
How long have you played on Argonath RPG?:
Well I was playing 0.2.1 for about 4 months and had a break at the start of 0.2.2 - Then I came back on for about 4 months had another break and have been on for another couple of months
How long have you played as a freecop?:
I normally play in game as a freecop (or in 0.2.1 as a regular police officer), but I do spend time as a driver or suspect. This was all RP as I take a different role each time I sign on, and it would not affect my policing. I am normally seen as a freecop.
Are you a United States of Argonath Citizen (do you have a passport)?:
Yes I have a passport awarded to me by Inkognito
Have you got a driver license issued by AVDriving school?:
Yes I have been awarded a license by Hafford. (I think it was Hafford.. may have forgot the name )
Have you read "How To Become A SAPD Officer" in General chat?:
Yes. I have read all the steps and thought about them all.
Have you got any criminal records?:
I sometimes RP as a suspect, so I don't know if this counts, but like I said, it was just RP :)
Are you able to use Team Speak with a Microphone?:
I haven't used it but may be able to.
Why do you want to join San Andreas Police Department?:
When I play on the game, I believe I always try my best when policing. I get frustrated by being looked down upon as a freecop when I know I can do as well as the other players. I am very good at chasing suspects and keeping with them and giving a good commentry on the radio. I am always fair and don't break the rules when I chase my suspects. I think I will be very good after my training and want to do a good job looking after the United States of Argonath.
Describe yourself in few sentences:
Ermm... I like motorsport... I like to play San Andreas online, but only on one server  I can lose my temper and have flamed in the past, but so has everyone if there honest. I like to make new friends and get along with people, and enjoy myself  Thats me in a nutshell :D

Thanks for reading! :D

Me assisting Vince in a raid

Me persuing suspects behind officers

Me being informed by senior officers for involvement in a drugs bust

Me, PupL and another officer closing in on a suspect

Me and some other senior officers and cadets taking care of Razor who was suspected for the illegal eating of people

Me providing air backup on a police chase

Me assisting 5 senior officers in a hostage situation

I think this demonstrates I am a good freecop and I dont abuse.

In the DD you just told me to '' stfu ''
That was 6 days before, but, still, are you still disrespecting officers?

I think TommyT would be great as Cadet. He needs a bit more experience to become officer, but i'm sure he'll do fine.

I don't know if he knows the radio code's or the map, but I know he can drive and he likes to RP.

i think this freecop needs more respect for higher ranked cops first,
we had a 207 and Legend/swifty told him to leave,
but he just staid there saying i will talk with him,
like he is ranked good,
he forgets he is only freecop

You forget that just because you have a purple name, doesnt mean others cant RP too.

ehh tommy, since when i got a purple name?
(its dark blue)
and no i dont think others cant RP,
i got lots of friends who are not officer, or even just civillians,
so dont lie,
and i dont see the RP in a freecop, the lowest rank, ordering all higher rankeds to do something

Well, Tommy. Today at a 207 me & legend gave you direct orders to back off..you shot the kidnapper & ignored our orders, took you a long time to leave also. You may be a good cop, but you need to learn to follow orders from higher ranks.

Luckily for me I keep screenshots of literally EVVVEEERRRYTTHINGGG  :cop:

I will upload shortly. Now however, I will tell the story.

The 207 was reported and I attended. I came from a good, hidden position where officers were requesting a sniper. as this was not possible and I had a clean shot, I took it. I was then told not too, and as the officers stayed back doing nothing, I began to chat in a relaxed fashion like real police negotiators are trained to do. This appeared to be working very well and was the start of a possible good roleplay, but no, I get told via pm and radio that they want to do it and that I cannot be involved. So I replied telling them I was in the middle of a rp but I was given abuse by PM and forced to leave.

Then the criminal was just shot and killed and he along with others claimed of poor rp.

I always listen to commanding officers, but if i'm mid roleplay and it is an important part of an incident, you do not kick someone out of it!

Uploading screenshots to back this up shortly.

doesnt matter tommy, the highest ranked officer on the location will be leading it, not just a freecop,
you should listen to the higher ranked cops and should have left,
they will negotiate and not a freecop,

if they tell you to do something, then you listen, else it will make you a bad cop

One good advise tommy: if there's a serious situation like a 207 or even a terorist attack, the top brass will take care of it. Don't just go out with your trigger happy finger and start shooting. Just follow orders from the higher ups they'll know what to do.

Today, I and another freecop went on a First Response Unit training course with Zun. We both passed it with: Shooting, Chasing and RP.

I think this has made me a better cop already :) :cop:

For one: you abuse -
For two: you are a disrespecting player, flame people on duty, and on duty -
For three: no need to post random pics of you in situations, it won't help.
For four: you expect people to take pics whenever they are abused and cry that they got a pic of it?

PErsonally you need some more training, and need to learn how to respect higher ranks.

Excuse me? Who are you? I never flame anybody on duty. I have flamed off duty when killed by noobs, but who hasn't?

I never abuse.

I post the situations to show that I work well. It will help, because anyone older than 12 can see I know how to play and rp.

If your abused, take a screenshot and report it. As nobody has taken any or reported me, your wrong. So hush.
