ARPD and SAPD

Hey, what is the difference between ARPD and SAPD and whats the benifits for being in SAPD? Because I would like to join SAPD but if ARPD has the same stuff I will just stay in ARPD. Also is there a age limit IRL to apply for SAPD? Thanks!

ARPD and SAPD Almost the same just SAPD get more experience and highly professional officer willing to Serve and Protect with fully follow Procedures and Rules.Its your choice wanna be ARPD Officer or SAPD Officer as long you can work as cop very well and willing to team work arrest the criminal.There no such IRL age limit to apply for SAPD as long you can fully Active in games,Good attitude,Mature,Discipline and fully follow Rules.

Thank you that helped. Just one more question, are officers supposed to do some kind of training? Because I never did any training.

However,you as ARPD Officer does not have to do some kind of training but you can still do it does not get punishment anyway just to let other officer get share by your experience to become more Professional officer in the field.You could also attend some of the training hosting by officer when you hear in police radio try to attend it to gain more experience and become more professional in the field.Good Luck

Yes,ARPD Officer does not have to do but you can do it if you like.For SAPD Officer rank above they should do it depend on their assignment or get order by higher rank.

Once you applied for the SAPD and your application has been dealt with and you got accepted into the SAPD. You will have to go through the SAPD Academy, we will teach you to be a cop with the standards of the SAPD.

The A.R.P.D. Consists of multiple different "sub departments", such as SAPD, LCPD, VCPD, SWAT, NOOSE and FBI.

An ARPD officer has less 'limitations' to what they can do. For example an ARPD officer in the SA:MP server would be allowed to patrol around in an infernus, whilst an SAPD officer has regulations against doing so. (unless I'm mistaken)

Although, with being SAPD/SWAT/FBI, you get more knowledge and experience of how things work and you can learn a thing or two. Also there is a stronger feeling of 'team work' within SAPD compared to your stand alone ARPD officer.

This is basically a huge patrol. It involves coverage of a whole city. There are teams of Officers. Each team is under strict communication rules and must patrol their assigned area. I recommend that you do join one of these if in progress!

Organised patrols are normally held daily by departments. They'll be announced over the radio by the patrol leader and anyone can join, unless something specific is said.

It seems there is a little confusion here.

To put this out there explained in a couple of ways, ARPD is the organization under which all Law Enforcement in Argonath RPG fall under. Everyone on police duty is an ARPD Officer (or above), but they are still part of ARPD regardless of affiliation with any official Law Enforcement groups. ARPD Officers are not restricted to the rules of official Law Enforcement groups, such as SA:MP SAPD or MTA:VC FBI, for example. In SA:MP SAPD, or any other server's specific Police Department, (or Federal Agency in the case of FBI Divisions), members of the Police Department, (or Federal Agency), have to follow that specific group's rules in addition to anything ARPD Officers are forced to follow by the server rules. Anyone in an official Law Enforcement group in Argonath is also in ARPD, but those in ARPD are not necessarily in those official Law Enforcement groups.

In terms of organization, the group goes as follows:

1. ARPD is the overall Agency in charge of Law Enforcement throughout the United States Of Argonath. Anyone on police duty is part of this while on said duty.
2. Under ARPD, there are branches of official Law Enforcement groups, such as LU LCPD, MTA:VC VCPD, VC:MP VCPD, MTA:SA SAPD, SA:MP SAPD, and IV:MP LCPD. There are also Divisions of FBI, which it's Agency is treated as part of ARPD itself like Police Departments, and they have Divisions in just about every Argonath RPG server, as well. Members of these groups apply and join based on the group's requirements, which are usually more restrictive than just being on police duty.
3. Under the Official Law Enforcement groups' Police Departments, there are SWAT teams, or in the case of IV:MP, NOOSE.

As for abilities, ARPD Officers are considered the lowest rank in Law Enforcement in Argonath RPG since anyone can be an ARPD Officer. They are given a lower amount of weapons, with less abilities in some cases, due to this fact. Next is the "Officer" rank for each official Police Department, or in the case of FBI, "Agent". It goes up from there where anyone with an official Police Department Officer rank/FBI Agent rank is given more abilities based on what each server sees fits. At the very top of the list above all the Chiefs/Directors of each of these official groups is the ARPD Commissioner. The person in this role is in charge of ARPD in every server overall, including establishing the presence in new servers, and managing the entire Agency as a whole, even above that of the Chiefs/Directors of each official group, as necessary.

Of course. As an ARPD Officer, you are not bound by any official Law Enforcement groups' rules, so you could even create your own unofficial groups to do any sort of Law Enforcement work in the servers. Use your imagination and have fun! As long as you follow the server rules, you are fine.
