Resigning/ ragequitting just because you lost your damn position or thinks it's unfair, clearly shows the real you.

Yes! Not to mention any names, but BY GOD look how many officers just resigned because we are under lock down. It just shows how many SAPD officers are dedicated to SAPD even if its in the worse times.

For a long time, the SAPD had reform coming to it. When Jaaskaa was promoted to the post of ARPD Commissioner, it was only going to be the beginning. That officers who gave shitty performance would be removed and that there would be changes that some consider sudden, perhaps even radical.

In the recent events where we have witnessed two waves of mass resignations and a lockdown, people have been showing their true colors by ragequitting and shitstorming about the situation as they woke up one morning to a different rank. I would advise you not to see it as a loss, but as a victory, for we are having less members in the organization who only care about their ranks.

The real problem here is not how bureaucratic the procedures can get, how the Command Staff may face more internal problems, or how some officers do not regard their comrades properly. The real problem is people forgetting that they are supposed to play for fun and friendship, which leads to a lot of other problems, including all of those aforementioned.

If you have done your best as an Officer and exercised a proper attitude worthy of being in an official organization, then you have nothing to worry about.

Im hoping this reform shows us that we need to appreciate what we have and form a stronger feeling of brotherhood. At the moment I see no real sense of Brotherhood, sticking up for each other and having each others backs. But as it has been said a few times here. The long term effects are what we strive for, people need to look further then just a few days.

You took the hammer and hit the nail right on the head so to speak. Very true.
Lets look to see how things turn out, I hope to see some real positive changes in the SAPD, and the overall ARPD.

Oh and yea, Mashy is right.. its December 21st... the day of the Winter Solstice

Very well said TinMan. ;) As I said before, it doesn't really matter what your rank is on /rank, all you gotta do is stay with your department and do what you do each and every day, as usual.  :)

You are correct that soon the difference between ARPD and SAPD is going to end.
Which means that people quitting now may find themselves forced to seek a career outside law enforcement.

What for the people who stand back and just watch what will happen (like me, and some different people due the fact that I don't give a f**k about the lockdown, I'll continue)

It's always good to see people resigning from proper changes that are performed to solve issues. It shows that they cannot handle real duties as a officer and cannot act with full respect towards the ARPD Officers.

JDC said it here;
