Calling it a day, forever. Or, at least when things get well..
« on: September 17, 2012, 13:55:14 pm »

Veteran. I am a member of this community, since 2009, 3 years and few days so far. Back in 2009, I was this childish rulebreaker, who was DM-hungry all the time. Hah, I remember assaulting Fernando Rivera in his shiny vehicle with JayL. Good memories! You see, I want you to understand, that I was born with SAPD, I felt like it was my destiny, to be in the SAPD. I always liked seeing people with dark blue names responding to various situations, I really did. Who helped me with my baby-steps, was honourable lieutenant Smey, and sergeant Gregersen - And then comes the role of Officer, Plam Knight. He supported me and we patrolled in a daily-basis as I re-call.. I promised myself those days to apply and succeed. And I did, that was my slogan, and still my slogan, I must not fail. I did not, I never did. And then comes real-life, the thing that is un-stopabble. School, is something that makes us far away from each-other, which is a good thing, for me, and for you. School is important. Things that happened the past week are a reason too. I was the best supervisor of CMB in this history of Argonath, and the only straight-edge SAPD member. I promised I will never resign, and I'm resigning. Some people want to hear me say it: I Quit. Hah, that's not important. As I said earlier, school is something that is important, and that's not the only reason. If you paid attention, you'll find the second reason. So, folks, today I say good-bye. I know this was not expected, but I'm a sensitive man, things could make me resign, I resign. This may be forever, or I'll return when things get well, in 1 year, 2 years, or even 5 years maximum.

People I'd like to thank, are all the SAPD. From Jack Schappel, to Paul Rogers. Paul, if you're seeing this, good job, I know why I got you directly as DEA Co-chief in 2010.

Regards,

Keep up the good work!

I respect your first reason, real life will always take place over the game.
Sadly I do not respect at all your second reason, which I belive I am pretty aware of it.

People leaving because they do not get noticed (for their feeling) or get promoted. I'm not understanding and supporting that, I told you to stay in and you might earn your promotion or compliment soon. But now you never get it, since you resigned.

If you want to earn something, you must remain dedicated to earn it. Throwing in the towel after a short try won't suffice.

But nonetheless, see you.

How dare you attack this topic?!

It's amazing to see people who post before thinking...

Nexxt, I told you that after I resigned.

I dont understand how you need to get fun out of something by getting a promotion, it also shows that you rather resign for not getting promoted then completing and fullfilling your duties as a officer, showing you are willing to work in a position for a long period... i believe thats called being loyal.

Not being promoted is not a problem. But when you work here for four years, still wearing officer rank, and then seeing someone who passed the academy one week ago .. Promoted to senior officer. Might just drive someone mad. Being here for four years is loyal in my eyes. Every single day that you are here.

Its a game, not a real job where you can stay working for more then 20 years.

What if Argonath closes tomorrow? Did uou achieve anything that will be usefull in your real life?

someone who passed the academy one week ago .. Promoted to senior officer.

May I ask who you are referring to? As I look I don't see anyone who was only officer for one week and was promoted.

being in a department for 4 years doenst give you any advantage above any other officer, it neither means you get a higher rank. If a officer has more potentional in the field its simply logical to promote that officer above someone who isnt that skilled or doesnt have such potentional, even altho hes in the force for years.

Just giving an example.. inb4 ''why you.....''
