On Leave due to Hurricane

I've been on leave for six days due to power outages caused by Superstorm Sandy, but I might as well formalize my absence here. I am and will be on indefinite leave (until power is restored) from almost all emergency services activity.

I don't anticipate being absent longer than another week.

Power has been restored in my area for now. There's a blizzard going on, though, so if I suddenly disappear again, it's likely due to another power outage. I'll follow up in a day or two when my utilities situation becomes more clear.
