VCPD Idea/VCPD Officers+
« on: January 22, 2016, 19:15:46 pm »
So I've come across this idea of allowing VCPD officers that are offduty to have access to VCPD vehicles if needed or atleast carry some VCPD equipment. If else I'm suggesting an undercover officer idea for VCPD. I'm also suggesting an idea of allowing off-duty VCPD Officers+ to have the ability of flashing their badges and get on duty only when necessary, such as for example: When there is smuggling going on and an offduty officer is needed as fast as possible and that he's not close to a PD, he can do /badge or /duty which would help him in arriving on scene without them using a VCPD officer skin.

Undercover is FBI privilege to keep things balanced between VCPD, FBI and SWAT.

Police equipment will not be given to off-duty members as some roleplay a whole different character whilst not playing a cop (Nylez is a prime example).

That /duty on-site idea I don't yet comment on, it could have it's uses but needs to be thought out completely to avoid "overpowered" usage.
Nigga you flip sides so much you might aswell be a f**king pancake; one week you're in a crime family, then the next one you apply for VCPD.
Untrustworthy, unhelpful, and simply quite a pain..

I don't think it's all that necessary. There are enough PD's within the city to make it easily reachable from almost anywhere.

Speaking of that, it gets annoying, because everytime I log on, everywhere I go I see a VCPD vehicle abandoned on the street; Setting up a PD vehicle respawn/All vehicle respawn would be satisfying.

Let's be frank, just shoot and destroy it so it respawns. It's really not that hard.

Like what? Two VCPD cheetahs spawn at HQ. SWAT trucks can be found at every PD, as well as several police cruisers.

Sometimes I go around Vice City's PDs and I barely notice any, I then make my way to Havana PD, as I drive to Starfish Island, I notice like 3 wreckt VCPD cars abandoned on the road, I go over the Starfish Bridge and I see two VCPD vehicles right next to the entrance of Havana... It interupts me and other fellow officers during pursuits alot.

Check Vice point PD, there are usually always cruisers there.

Sure. But I'd still support the /duty-on-sight idea, if not accepted then atleast having the ability of showing people your badge, since its hard for them to believe you roleplay wise.

There already is automatic vehicle respawn script that is shorther for police vehicles. Also if there's literally zero vehicles around at PDs, you may ask level 3+ admins to respawn all vehicles (they may or may not reject your request depending on the situation in the server).

And if you play on 60 FPS, just flip the unused cars laying around like they're nothing  :afro:

                                                                                      POLICE AMMUNITION :war:

i reckon that there should be a police ammunition at HQ which gives us particular  :war: weps to manage the situation because all the time we have go to the ammunation and it takes a lot time and money too.the ammunition will be useful for VCPD oficers and above.this idea is a good one plz work on it so VCPD should be ready to stand against crime :police:

VCPD Officers have standard gear and SWAT has the more advanced gear.

If you find yourself outgunned by a mile with a lot of officer's funerals on the way, call in SWAT support or as you said, go to ammunation.

Shotgun and colt are more than sufficient even against M4 in the right hands. Just make sure you don't come across Kessu with an M4.  :D

We have spikes, vehicles and could even use crates to do that (Kessu?).

What we can do is make it possible for cops to drop those barricades as like you can do with crates. The only problem is that dropped objects like that are indestructible, unlike those pictured above where the driver can crash through them. So an indestructible barrier is a little unfair in my opinion, which is why I frown upon using crates to block off people.
