My time has come - 2009 -> 2018
« on: December 04, 2018, 21:23:13 pm »
Greetings all whom may care.
This is the end of my career in the SAPD.

Thank you to all that guided and believed in me
Hank Rafferty and CBFasi were great role-models, truly admirable people.. and shameful to see how the community treated them.

The same community that now lost any and all faith I still had in it.
I hereby will put Bas in charge, I hope you manage to salvage whatever's left in SA:MP.

Argonath SA:MP strayed awfully far from its original path, and I feel now is the right time to depart.

I'll stick around Argonath, as it still is my home.. but no longer in SA:MP.

It's been an honor serving you for almost 10 years.

I bid you not farewell, but auf wiedersehen.

Ps. Thank you in particular to Brian, shame to see how you were treated as well.

It's sad to see this happening again. 4th time for me. You were as good example as other chiefs did but only you gave me a chance to show my best in high positions. Thank you for long serving time.

I remember the old days of Argonath and I remember seeing you around back then. I'm glad when I returned this year, I was able to reconnect with you and see you scale the ranks from Senior Officer to Chief. Hell, I remember when I was talking to you on a patrol about if I should request reinstatement, which I did. It was so much better back in January compared to now. I hope we return back to that point but I highly doubt it. See you around.

When you returned after a long inactivity, we patrolled together almost all the time and always had a good conversation until you scaled higher and i went inactive. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get the same old days back but i'm pretty damn sure people will remain the same as they were before. You performed your duty well and led the dept even when there was only a little hope.
Adios! May we meet again somehwere in same community but samp.

It’s really disappointing and depressing to see you resgin at this stage after what are you trying to do to help the sapd but come on it’s your life and I am sure you took the decision what you see right for yourself.... I hope you will enjoy your future life the most and I would like to keep in contact with you over discord..

Everyone will eventually move on. I wish you good luck, Doggi and hope things work out well for you.

Good luck with your life, your future endeavors, and however you perceive them.

The server's going that way so of course SAPD which is a part of it is following up too.

I'll try and get my FiveM working somehow and we'll play together for sure, Doggi. We're going to be still in contact ;)

It is so sad to be frank. SAMP Argonath, and SAPD in particular was a very big part of my teenage years. I've spent so much time in it. Whenever the weather was awful, I could just always make a cup of Hot Cacao and enjoy some quality roleplay with the SAPD.

It is heartwrenching to see that somehow from a department that had enough man power to actively maintain three seperate subdepartments, it went to a complete desert wasteland. I do not want to blame anyone, but the server has went to hell and seems to have went far past the point of no return. I hope that it will be able to stand on its feet again, but given the age of the game, I doubt that's gonna happen. The only other SAPD I see in the future is the one in FiveM if the Argo devs actually manage to put it together.

With that, farewell. In my eyes, the last hope for SAPD goes with you.

Do not fear, Huntsman. We are working on a new project which contains Angel Pine. Since LS is big, it feels dead. We are moving everything to AP, new garages set, roads, buildings etc. since the town is small, it would get some interaction between players. SAPD has some changes too. Believe me, we are pulling the server back alive.

Totally late with this but I guess I'll also drop a few.

We've had our differences in the recent past for obvious reasons but it turned out some might have seemed to be due to miscommunication, but that's not the point. I do not feel happy nor sad regarding this resignation because I've been inactive but yet again even when I was active I was kinda detached from the entire thing but I feel it's only fair to say that you've been a great teacher to me as to what SAPD actually is.

You've been a hardworker, dedicated and loyal part of SAPD and I can honestly blame the server as a whole for not motivating you to fulfill your true potential and work within SAPD.

Some may feel like I wanted this to happen, but it's not really the case, and as we've already sorted our little issue in private, I kind of lately want to thank you for all you've offered to this place. (Including the stupid examination book )

Catch you up sometime, I guess..
