Yes the 5 car limit rule has been lifted as it seems to have no reason to be there anymore as cops can now very easily repair their vehicles just as criminals can :P

One day I saw a man at the weed fields doing "/me drops a magic smoke grenade making the cops unable to move" and then he ran away LoL

That's my kind of guy. :cop:

OLOLOLOLOL, I love him!

One of the Scripters was thinking about changing the system so you can only exit near the door.

Until then, station your heavy weapons outside and send only one man in if the suspect is alone.

Remember this also:
-If they "/exit abuse", you can also go after them. Same with bunnyhopping.
-Leave men outside so they can blast the suspect into oblivion the second he materializes out of thin air.

I have to agree with Rabbit, I've been here for 6 months now, and I'm really noticing the lack of Role Play in the community this last month.

I don't even like to really play anymore because it's become Argonath Cops and Robbers. I left a Cops and Robbers server to go here because I loved the role play and the behavior of the server, which is now gone.

Don't try to pull that "Well, kind of coincidental that after you joined, it got bad didn't it?" crap. I have been told by NUMEROUS admins, ARPD Staff, and regular players I have more role play skill than a lot of "good role players" on this server. If I for one mention something like this, then there really is a role play problem.

Some of the problems I noticed:

Car's need to be started / hotwired
Criminals TOO easily run from the cops, strafe a bit, jump in a car and go. After 5 cars, not to say the admins don't do their jobs, usually don't get punished. I've been in a chase with a guy who had 12 different cars, and I /report'd for each individual car taken.

/exit needs to be fixed to the door, or illegal to use outside RP
I've had a guy do /me climbs out the window. and /exit'd - Which was PERFECT role play. So maybe not ONLY make the door an exit point, but make this a rule and enforce it.

Take off the 5 second freeze going inside/outside of a building!
Can't role play any police stuff, I get inside, and while frozen, type "/m Sheri" and am already dead by 3 combat shotgun spawn campers. I'm not the only one to complain about this. We had 8 SASD Deputies storm a house, and all 8 got wasted at once.

Firearms are too easily obtained - Incites people to kill cops, or deathmatch
Too many times I come across a "luvs2dm9923" who I pull over, he gets out, shoots me up and runs until his car explodes, gets out, takes another, blows it up, gets another, blows it up, and despite the fact that we have SIX PATROL CARS in pursuit, we can't catch him because he just blows up and gets another car. Or, the guy goes into a food place, and then kills the cops one by one as they try to enter but are frozen for 5 seconds.

More jobs, be job-scripted!
The problem that I've noticed with a lot of new players and new-regulars, is that they think they can only get money by doing illegal things, such as kidnappings and gang fights. There needs to be more jobs! Pizza-delivery, street sweeping, script road construction to actually have way points and actual goals to award money, etc etc. If I knew how to script, I'd be more than happy to do this!

This is only a small amount of things that would REALLY improve the role play, on its own without any admins or regulars intervening with the players.

Agreed.

And another thing I noticed, why do criminals keep their drugs when they die? What's the point of frisk when someone can always evade and end up keeping their drugs? People/criminals would be a lot more careful on how they conduct business and RP when there's more on the line for them to lose.

This was debated before...I agree to because they just go die to keep their drugs...

I lose 1k and all my weapons every time I die, and now you want me to lose drugs now? :<

It'll make criminals think twice before immediately resorting to violence.

you know i do have an idea to how Firearms are so easibly to obtain
why not issue a new law that all gun owning citizens must have Weapon License  that way we have less new players deathmatching
btw i thought /exit in an int is forbidden and considered script abuse and can be bannable
