''A game is there for the fun, is the fun gone then the game is gone also, else its an addiction''

as some already heard from me personally, and some saw it on msn or at my signature
im pretty much on the edge of leaving Argonath, forever

im already playing San Andreas since the first summer that it came out, lots of time ago that was
always have been playing it with a lot of fun,
and i started MP, Argonath,
right from the first day i became a cop, 1,5-2 years ago already
had lots of fun, gave lots of hours every day to Argonath
which partly screwed my social life and school

but i had fun in it and thats all i cared about

but since the last months that fun is really gone,
got annoyed by abusing freecops, all the rulebreaking
got also really annoyed by a dumb rule(probably made by ara or gandalf)
that you can suspect rulebreakers, which is the same as encouraging to continue
and also some promotions were in my eyes far from correct,
but i didnt care because thats not my bussines

im now working for Academy for 9 months already, training lots of cadets/freecops,
doing exams and all, i become Moderator/sort of co-leader
i did everything for the Academy myself,
trained a lot of ppl, giving hours each day for it,
but now they decided to destroy the academy.... all my work in it....
a big waste of time

also since a month now or so moderating Applications,
helping lots of freecops/cadets and all
great work that is

but all i heard about all the hours in all the work i did was complaining,
you do this wrong, and this and that, do it better!!
nobody appriciated anything i did, 1,5-2 years fully for ARPD,
no appriciation at all........

the only thing that kept me going was the freecops and cadets(and some officer which i trained)
THEY! are the real good ppl inside the ARPD,they are the ones with the respect,
they make it all fun
compared to officer and up who only complain about everything you do(except a few)

the last years i heard lots of complaints on me, but i went on with it, i had fun in it
but now its all just to far.....

i even talked with this on MSN with pancher, that i was almost leaving,
at the first he tried to talk it all good, but i dont believe that crap.....

i told i was tired of all the complaints, and you know what he said after that?
oh bian you did this wrong, how about disrespecting a very loyal member?
how about trying to get me to leave?
i always had respect for him, and i liked him, but this was to far for me,
after he said that all i did was: ''i heard enough'' and i left

im mostly only tired of the ARPD stuff, the disrespecting and all,
but im to loyal for the ARPD to just go to the criminals,
thats not how im, i gave everything for the ARPD
as we dutchies got a saying ''stank voor dank'' (like giving shit for hard work you did)

a few ppl tried to talk me in Argonath again, but for the moment i dont feel any appriciation,
and not the fun i need

at this moment i want to put all my time into my social life, into school, into other things i think is important,
and as most important my hopefully girlfriend, which i really really like

im not resigning, but just being inactive for now,
i have been here so long that i cant just leave,
so i hope the fun gets back in the coming time,
if the fun isnt back, then i resign and leave

no fun
no respect
no appriciation

but only hate against me
only disrespect against me
only complaints on my work
(a few exceptions)

You know how I think about it... People tend to moan at things going wrong, but forget to say what you're doing right!

i do,
and thats what i have been doing for 2 years already,
accept all that moaning, but enough is enough,
together with all other things combined, is enough to make me leave almost

''you do it good''

yeah thats what i hear from everyone, AFTER i announced this,
now everyone says im good, but where were all that ppl before then?
only acting like im good so that i dont leave,
and when im back, its all the goddamn old story again

One thing you have to realize about real life and especially police work - If you hear nothing at all, and nothing good, then you're doing everything correctly and doing good at it. We all recognize what you do and appreciate it, but just remember, if you don't hear anything then you're doing your job!

i know Rory,
but i only hear bad, and if i give everything to the work i still expect some appriciation
instead of not saying anything, doesnt have to be often, but never anything good in heading to 2 years?

and also my work is seen good by a lot of ppl,
examples enough, one i can give is: swat, even officer became member of swat,
even though i was lt. doesnt a higher rank mean im better?
then why arent they higher ranked as me? since apperently they are good enough,
and im not

more things like that exist

and indeed Janar, we talked about RL good couple of days ago,
but that has nothing to do with Argonath, sadly

its nice to hear this thing for ppl,
but as i said before: its all afterwards, before that you never hear from any of them

I know, its hard. As others have left saying the same, its not only in ARPD or Police work, its in life. Problem is we are a big organization, not everyone gets awarded for their work. What keeps me going is knowing I am doing good to my community and that somewhere down the line I will recieve some type of compensation for it, wheter it be through writing or rank. You sir are a Sgt. and your rank shows that you are appricated. Thats the best I can say

Inregards to the rulebreakers/freecops I agree, at least we can suspect them if needed ay? =]

i know my rank shows some sort of appriciation

but when i look how easy it is to become Sergeant this days,
then i dont see Sgt. as special anymore
partly proud on it though, but it feels so normal now, been a Sergeant since december 2008...

suspecting rulebreakers is the same as saying:
good work in rulebreaking, continue with it

I don't see Sgt has a easy rank to get, I did see Lt as that before the closure of SAID. I have not reassesed the new Lt's yet so I can't say my original opinion holds true.

Why would we give you more responsibility if we think you do a bad job?
Why have we promoted you under these 2 years you been with us?
Why have you recived medals for your job you have done and still do?

Cos you done a bad job? I guess not..

Yes, i'm very bad to tell people how good job they do and how much i appreciate the work they do.. But as Rory say, "If you hear nothing at all, and nothing good, then you're doing everything correctly and doing good at it.", by quote that i would like to note that you should think from who you get the complaint from, but you should also be able to accept complaints so you know how you can develope to be better.

but when i look how easy it is to become Sergeant this days,
We have at this time around 11 Sergeants of around 80 SAPD employess withiut counting the members with rank above.. I don't think it's that easy to become an sergeant..

People tend to moan at things going wrong, but forget to say what you're doing right!
You know.....My teacher at school used to tell me about my other classmate, who was a prick towards whole school "People will always forget about hell of a lot of your good things you made, and will always keep close to heart what bad thing you've done for once..."

Bianconeri, just keep yourself out of the asses, which try to tell you're doing something wrong. If you really don't think you're doing something bad/wrong, why keep bothering to listen? Do what you think is right to do.

im not resigning, but just being inactive for now,
i have been here so long that i cant just leave,
so i hope the fun gets back in the coming time,
if the fun isnt back, then i resign and leave

thats for you Jemerson,

yes i know i have been given much responsbility, but in the begin i really appriciated this and i still do,
but i got more the feeling that you have given that moderating to me because nobody else wanted
and im just the best option left, although not first choice
since normally capt or so would, or else at least LT. and all i hear about it is complaints

about the medals, with all respect, im proud of them,
but i mostly got that metorious service medal,
which is just given to everyone and has no value at all, its just being active and thats it

and now you say:'
''you must be able to handle with complaints and accept them''

this is exactly what i have done for the whole 2 years, but most complaints are just based on nothing,
and i can have a lot of crap against me, but 2 whole years?
no ty, a game isnt important enough to take all that crap

well with all respect to all Sergeants and also up, some are really not ready for that rank,
not done much and not long around also,
im already here for almost 2 years, i know the law point by point, i can dream about any code

also about that Altair, given answer on that a bit up, i mostly ignored all that asses you talk about,
but im not willing to get that for over 2 years, i got a line in that, which has been crossed

i got much and really much more respect for freecops and cadets then for all ranks above, including Chiefs
freecops/cadets know to appriciate everything you do for them, they are happy with you,
they dont complain at you, and thats much for i can say then all other ranks

There are a few things i want to say...

Before always blaming others that react lame to you or any other kind of way... Always consider your own actions first..

And not everyone is disrespecting.. flaming you.. Far from that...

And i dont see how the rule "can suspect rulebreakers" affects your mood.... :S

And in addition... Dont pay to much attention on the abusing freecops... that know it all themself... We can only try to learn them the police procedures..

Thanks Car :)

far from that Austin? not really, how much ppl actually like me?
i think you dont even need 1 finger to count that

why it affects my mood?
cause i hate it that they encourage rulebreaking,
you reward there rulebreaking with suspect, exactly what they want

it pisses me off that the ppl are to dumb to see that

is it impossble to be inactive without resigning? well i see lots of ppl being active without resigning,
and Vince please...

Ofcourse the suspect does encourage him. But your a sergeant, talk to me.. CB or Pancher about it... Take initiatives yourself! You should be the one to change it, your in a position where you can bring such things up for discussion, that shouldnt be stated in an on leave topic... Thats the wrong method...

And for the things about you dont have any friends here. Your the one that can change that... But you wont keep/get friends when you are like in this topic...
Its almost looks like your depressed or something...

Go on the server, be happy... It will help alot... Not only yourself, also the way people treath you... Threat people how you want to be threated. A joke from time to time makes things lose up... And increases fun. Joking from time to time is not a crime.

Thanks Car :)

I'm just wondering why everyone is Bi-Polar..
Bianconeri, I respect you. I think you're an exceptional Sergeant! I appreciate your work. Don't quit out on us. We need all the help we can get to keep the ARPD alive. It's the only thing keeping Argonath alive, and quite frankly with everyone quitting we can't afford to loose the good bunch of people we need.
