The Sheriff's Academy - Class: SD-1-09

You do not have to apply, or be in, the Sheriff's Division of San Andreas to enter the Sheriff's Academy

The Sheriff's Academy is for anyone interested in Argonath Law Enforcement. This academy will also help towards Cadets and their progress to receive their officer's exam. Those going to our academy will also receive a certification and badge signifying their class number and date of graduation, to show their level of expertise.

Going to our academy will teach you real life tactics from real-life experienced police personnel including Officers, Explorers and Dispatchers, including teaching you traits about yourself instilling leadership, professionalism, pride, confidence, and teamwork as well as provide experience that will not only help you through your career as a Police Officer of Argonath, but also help your application to ARPD and ranking up in the future...

When applicants are chosen, and promotions are handed out, ARPD looks for those who stand out with experience and knowledge, will you be one of those few?





Process of Application:
OPTION 1: Applying for SASD, on the forums at http://www.sasdivision.com/

OPTION 2: Apply for Academy here, or on the SASD forums at http://www.sasdivision.com/
Step 1) Applicant will be contacted for an interview for suitability into the academy (good attitude, etc.)
Step 2) Applicant will be investigated for criminal history on duty for suitability into the academy (any major crime acts, tickets, etc)
Step 3) Applicant will be test of their current knowledge of the ARPD for academy class placing
Step 4) Applicant will be notified of their acceptance or denial into the Sheriff's Academy, and appointment to the class of SD-1-09





REQUIREMENTS:
A CB Radio, we will be using the "SASD Narcotics and Firearms Enforcement Tactical-Net" channel for the academy.

(Most trainings will not be hosted in Los Santos due to Officer Safety)
CLASSES:

Day One: (Hosted in Dilimore)

Hour 0000-0030:
- Introduction to the Academy, and Law Enforcement within Argonath
- Introduction to the Argonath RPG Police Department, and the ARPD Forums, how to create an account and and application for Cadet.
- Expected behavior of Explorers, ARPD Dept. Policy, and professionalism

Hour 0030-0100:
- Physical Training, marching, drill formations, issuance of police equipment

Hour 0100-0200:
- Introduction to the Police Departments across Argonath, Ride-Alongs with the Academy Staff
- Debrief at Dilimore Police Department

Day Two (Hosted in Las Venturas)

Hour 0000-0030:
- Briefing, Physical Training, Traffic Stops

Hour 0030-0200:
- Traffic Stops (Officer Safety, Vehicle Positioning, Ticket Writing, "Verbal Judo")
- EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations and Control) - How to PIT, Rules of the Road, and Code 3 Technique
- Use of Force (When to Shoot/Not to Shoot) - Introduction to Firearms
- Kidnappings and Hostage Situations - (Barricading, Negotiations, SWAT/FBI)
- Debrief and Dismissal at Las Venturas Police Department

Day Three (Hosted at San Fierro)
- Briefing, Patrol Techniques and Community Policing, create applications to ARPD

Hour 0030-0200: (This portion may run longer than two hours. Priority given to those who must log off. THIS DAY CAN NOT BE SKIPPED/MISSED/LEFT EARLY!!)
- Testing Scenarios








Graduation (Hosted at City Hall)
- Honor Graduates (96-100%)
- Appointment to Sheriff's Division (if applicable)
- By Rank, by Name
- Official ARPD Training Segment Certifications (required training for Cadets to get Officer Exam

Graduation day is held every Sunday Afternoon at 11:00am Pacific, which is 9:00pm CET (Server Time) following the completion of an Academy Class, which will be announced on the ARPD News and Announcements board, along with the SA:MP Events and Winners board)..

The Sheriff's Academy is hereby open, and the first class is scheduled to begin Sunday, October 18th 2009, at 10:00pm Pacific (7pm CET Server Time).

There is no more Official Training, I had 3 people come up to me asking me if this was REQUIRED to become a Officer, No its  not...You either are wrong or need to reword that to remove confusion

I haven't seen anything about that in the trainers section, who told you that? There would be no point in training officers anymore.

Cadets doesn't have any REQUIRED training, they will be tested for officer, when higher ranks think they are ready.

There is NO training officers anymore
There is NO police academy anymore....
The trainer section does nto exist anymore, hense why u did not see it lol
