1- Always take cover! (behind cars, walls)
2- if you cannot take cover, RUN to find cover (as you said, you have low chance to win AK-47 Vs Deagle, it would be suicide)

When you are undercover you can call for backup, and you can try shoot him from your cover.

3- Spend a bit of money for heavy weapons, I advise you Combat Shotgun and armour. Just armour give you still more chance to stay safe.

4- Best solution, never patrol alone, always with partners.

Actually, it is possible to kill someone with a deagle, who has an AK-47. Just run to cover (your car would fit) and report it in radio, unless the criminal is too close. In that case, try to drive away a bit. If that's not possible, be a suicide bomber :D

@Brokman

point 3 not supported, ok buying a m4 is good, but combat is useless, certainly against ak47
combat is n**b gun and close range, while AK47/M4 rocks and is good for a good range

as said:
always take cover in those cases, and then shoot from that cover,
if the suspect got shotguns, dont let him get close and keep falling back for cover

try to call in back up while in cover, then either return fire safely, or stay at cover untill backup arrives
and as told: patrol together

but in buying your own gear, armour should do the job,
we are perfectly weaponed for all situations, smg against vehicles, deagle vs persons

train the deagle shooting, you will see that if you are trained into using deagle,
then you can defeat all persons with all guns

ak47 vs deagle? certainly not impossible, well trained good chance

:ps: although deagle is perfect, if the other is really good with ak47 then there is a big chance you lose
also depends on situation you are in, combat always stay at a distance!

Combat work in the case you are close to the suspect indeed.

Well, I'll just give a few tips.

1.) Always travel with a partner! If a situation occurs where you need to request for backup on the radio, you can cover your partner while he requests for backup, or vice-versa.

2.) Always stay in cover! If you for some reason cannot get in cover and you have the advantage in numbers, and the suspect also is not in cover, then do your best to bring him down. However, if he is in cover and hammering you with gunfire, run! Also, if the suspect is heavily armed, or you're outnumbered, also run! If in a situation where you have no choice but to return fire and engage the suspect due to no cover, or nowhere to run, then crouch and return fire. Keep rolling to stay out of the suspects aim, and do your best to bring him down! If a chance arises to call for backup, do so!

3.) Be tactical! If for example, the suspect is equipped with a Combat Shotgun, then stay as far away as possible, and attack from range. But, if the suspect is equipped with a long ranged weapon, an AK-47 or Sniper Rifle, for example, then try and get closer. A shot from your Desert Eagle should stun them, and then you can finish them off.

I hope this helps a little. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask via PM.

Keep moving under any condition, standing still targets are like sleeping ducks - If they miss, they'll be laughed at :D
Try to flank him: One (or more) keeps suspect(s) under fire, other one (or more) go around to hit them in the side/back ;)

The combat shotgun is an excellent gun when it comes to all ranges... And it's only a "noob gun" if you don't know how to control it.

Yes, but the weapon is more effective at close range.

1. That is not true.
2. No.
3. Improve your aim. It's hard, but possible. I've done it many times before.

I'm sure you can kill someone with AK-47 with your deagle? Why, because I've done it myself many times. It's also possible to kill 2 guys (with Combats, armour) with your deagle (& no armour). ;)

I would suggest you get an partner when you are patrolling so you both can cover each others back.

+1

And it's also possible to beat an AK-47 with a Deagle. The deagle takes 3 shots to kill a man, the AK-47 takes much longer

The Deagle is more than enough weaponry to take out suspects using AKs', M4s', Combat etc2. Personally I would advise you to practice more on your shooting skills.

Expert usage of the Desert Eagle requires not only shooting (accuracy) skills, but evading skills as well. All the precision with your aim in the world is totally useless when the bullet that is about to take your life hits you.

Sometimes though, depending on the situation, it is best to counter heavy weapons with heavy weapons.

For mid-range to slightly long-range shootouts, M4 would be a good weapon (sniper lags so much, so it should be used if you are extremely accurate), and for close combat, use a combat shotgun.

It's best though to just carry around a large amount of pepper spray. :)
