Well , as a officer ,i will be honest, my shooting skills isnt best. However, i have a great knowledge of roleplay.

Just look at the departaments member list, even more than half is inactive in VCMP.

Well , maybe more roleplay and activity, i mean , if there is a new person in server that is actually intersted in playing cop role, i could teach them basics of the server just as i did yesterday with oen guy.

I dont have anything against VCPD, i think its even more professional than big fishes like SAPD.

Once again, I would suggest that you don't make such fleeting remarks with little thought or first hand experience. It's only in an attempt to aid this application - we're looking for those that are team players, those that can bring new ideas, fresh thoughts to the table; those that can uphold a positive aura.

I dont know exactly how, But Legend, i'm playing here long enough to tell that departament is not active enough. I always see only free officers, no VCPD Around. TBh only you and Shadow, stormeus are active.
I think inactivity can be fought with more strict rules on inactivity and such.

We cannot force people to be online at specified times, on the first fact, due to IRL problems and the school beginning, and the second fact, there are different timezones. We appreciate your suggestion, but if you could find something more logical and easier to apply, it would be great. In meantime, be patient, and check out the forums, regulary.

I know, but usually, when people are not able to fulfil their duties, they resign. Being inactive for like 3 months is very crazy ...

To avoid any more dashing remarks, it might brighten the mood if I tell you that those people on the official list who appear as inactive would have already informed the department beforehand about their absence - which, in almost all cases, have been due to real life things that are beyond adjustment.
While being part of the VCPD is a job, a well structured career, it's also meant to be flexible in relation to real life. People are not bribed, or given materialistic rewards in real life to stay active.
No one is forced either. :P
It would be up to the individual how much or how little they wish to put in. Generally the more someone puts in, the more they would get out.

Klaus is playing in the server every day. Everytime I join the server, I see him. It's not him inactive, it's you and it may be cause you two are from different timezones.

Server hasn't being having as bad downtime as it might have been observed in the past.
I often drop in when there are smaller player numbers to pick up activity. ;)

Conclusion: Had one nice roleplay during a traffic stop, i was about to do a roleplay detain on one guy for driving without license (Roleplay), however, some rulebreaker and hacker started car killing us and ruined it.
Then we had multiple suspects and took them down with Air Unit's support.

Also note to anyone out there.
People seem to judge me from my previous behaviour. YEs, i did mistakes in the past and made all that hate against myself, i know i am responsible for these by my own, but i think everyone deserves their second chance. Now everyone is hating on me usually, anything i want to do, or anything i try, i simply get ignored or hated or even flamed by the whole server just because im known as previous Hitman.
I have tried to change and i think i did. I have recently been in LVPD which really teaches discipline and fixes attitude issues which i think helped to me. So please, give me one more chance before judging me, and stop laying on me just because im Hitman.

Max, I think you do have some personal things to address first.
Why respond to those that may be offensive towards you in the same manner. Breaking a rule because someone else did isn't right; after all, two wrongs really don't equal a right.
You can just report such incidents in the correct way, as otherwise it can reflect badly for yourself.

Max, don't worry about people trying to deter you, as you do have potential even if it doesn't come through in this topic.
Ensure that you keep a check on your behaviour towards others, and you'll be just fine, I think.
There's often little need in retaliating, especially if it doesn't go your way.

1. there isn't anything such as 'destroying' RP or event, anyone can try to participate with his own RP as long as it's not a rulebreak (ex: robbing attempt on a 24/7 store while a lottery is going on), breaking events would be trying to distract everyone when they're filming something for example
2.there's no powergaming here
3. this isn't really the place to discuss rulebreaks, if you want to yell out loud how butthurt you are, [email protected] is the right place

Actually... having been at the situation myself, there was an element of disruption going on - I didn't see these players in question imposing RP or certain roleplay boundaries, but those that decided to disrupt did so in a manner that stepped out of standard rules, in that no actual roleplay from their side took place.
Before there are any misconceptions, this situation was cleared up in the server itself.

Today we had some serious riots, Legend issued as TEMP swat, had a big fight with huge amounts of criminals, and we were only 3. It was awesome, but then server crashed ;(

No worries, there's a very simply fix that would not require you to edit anything graphically.
(In case you need it ---)
Using the standard [img][/img] code, you can alter it slightly so it's like this: [img width=100 height=100][/img]
Fairly straightforward; adjusts some parameters for you. 100 used just as an example. : )

Max, it's really good to see that you are taking an active role in the recruitment side of the VCPD.
However, please avoid being too aggressive/unfriendly towards applicants and/or newcomers, as this can be very negative in some cases.
You are welcome to ask applicants questions, encourage them, make suggestions, but it's not an interrogation.
If someone's posted a clear false statement, we can simply ignore it or reply in a polite manner.

Hello, i wish to inform you that i would really need a shooting training.
When it comes to chasing i can do some serious damage, but when it comes to shooting im more than useless... I know all these tactics but i dont know how to apply them, i always don't do any damage and criminals always kill me ;s. Perhaps i should try to train in DM servers more.

There have been both the positives and negatives, the ups and downs, but I believe that you are now ready to advance to the main body of the VCPD.
