Public Ceremony Announcement

Dear citizens of the State of Vice City and United States of Argonath,

We would like to gladly announce that the Vice City Police Department will be holding an annual ceremony this month.

During the ceremony, we will be discussing future plans, awarding medals, recognitions, and ofcourse, promotions.

The ceremony is planned for February 4 (Saturday) 18:00 server /time. (Timezone is CET, use a timezone converter to see what time it is for you).


Location: Downtown Police Department yard.


NOTE: We are also extending this invitation to citizens of other States of Argonath. We will compensate your flight and accommodate your stay.
If you are a government representative from another state, or a member of another ARPD department, we would love for you to give a guest speech. Please let us know in advance.

2023-01-15

A Miraculous Rescue

The VCPD has responded to a report of violance that has broken out between a black male and a caucasian female. Upon arriving, things have started escalating and the perpetrator has started threatening the female with a firearm.

The perpetrator demanded that the police leave and not follow or he will land harm to the woman. In order to protect the life of the citizen, the police withdrew and regrouped at the Havana precinct for operational briefing.

Undercover units were deployed to survey and report on the whereabouts and actions of the perpetrator and the safety of the hostage.

A well-planned, tactical operation was put in place during which the perpetrator was quietly neutralised using long range weaponry and then the SWAT Breach Team has secured the hostage.

The woman was then escorted home.

Vice City Police Department has saved yet another life.

I know the server has not been the most active recently but we have not heard from you quite before the server went less active, and have not seen you in Discord much either.

Seeing how the server is now picking up activity again, I'd like to give you one last chance to get back active.

Please note that if we do not receive a reaffirmation of interest by Tuesday, we will proceed with removing you from the academy due to lack of interest and progress so far.

Hello, Jeremy,

It appears you had several applications and every single one of them has been rejected for inactivity. You apply, play a little, then disappear, ending up rejected.

For this reason, I think it is very valid of me to ask - what will make this time any different? Why should I not expect you to simply disappear again after we spend time evaluating you, and in the end, wasting our time?

So far I am not convinced this application should be given any serious thought.
