You full right!

Not fully... It's TOO low

But yeah, I rarely see people respond to a code 3. This is also because a few freecops don't know the codes and don't get what you mean.

Respect, respect, respect.

http://fbi.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=206.msg1107#msg1107

It seems like some SAPD Members have been discriminating on FBI Members / Cadets, so I hope that the said SAPD Members will change their ways before they suffer another pain in their ass.

Quote from: Pancher
...SAPD officers should show the same respect they give to the higher ranks as to the lower ranks, same for everyone, RESPECT everyone EVEN if you dislike the way someone work or do something on. Try to improve and help those you see need the help or the bad things that exist!...

I am not saying that all SAPD Members discriminate on FBI, neither am I pointing fingers at SAPD Members who have not done so.

May I remind that that also counts for FBI agents who think they stand above the law? Driving around in Bullets, interfering with traffic stops, and so on ..

This is why I made SRU - Special response units. To help units get backup, I hope it improves backup calls..

Win.

Couldn't have said it better. :app:

+1.

Because I'm a freecop I have to follow orders, sometimes those orders dont make sense. I am covering an officer who is speaking to a suspect- this is proper SAPD procedure and I get sprayed by him, even after I explain I am covering him.
It's like some officers think all freecops are newbs and have not even attempted to read procedures.
I respect all ;) , but when someone suspects me when im off duty head in my own patriot which he said I stole ... and ticketed me for... that is we're respect goes. And Now, I have lost allot of respect for the SAPD Captain or who ever who promoted a freecop who may RP good but doesnt follow the rules and murders /gu etc.
I am really sadened today  :hit:

But anyway "R-e-s-e-c-p-t" :D...

Erm.  I dont want to burst your bubble but...

I called a code 3 at LVPD area and there was officers there fast, even freecops :D.

Its a shame one cop got htere first and killed the suspects.  :hah:

There have been several incidents of SAPD Members (including high-ranked ones) insulting or provoking FBI Members on the police radio, especially in kidnappings. What on f**king earth happened to the word "Respect"?

We will not hesitate to collect screenshots from such incidents and use them as evidence in complaints, remember that.

Keep in mind guys - From now on - If think a 207 can be solved via giving money.. Okay, be everyone's guest and pay yourself, as FBI sure as hell aren't spoon feeding money-hungry criminals.

Also notice - If you're gonna run in with a few of your buddies, thinking you can kill all kidnappers when outnumbered, and NOT using a bit of teamwork.. You WILL be treated as a criminal. We WILL automatically suspect you for attempted murder, and use LETHAL force if that is the means of stopping you from running in.

That didn't happen recently. But it did happen on two occasions. Just a warning just in case you even THINK about doing something as stupid as that.

And the MAIN cause of all this commotion, is simply - People tend to make 207s a BIIG DEAL. Simply because of this -

Hostage dies, he loses like 200-600 dollars, and his guns. Yeah, not such a big deal, it's not the end of the damn world. We ALL die in argonath.. from accidents, to shootouts. But we keep going don't we?

And if you pay like 100k, hostage is saved.. BUT

1. You just more than likely paid for the criminals to buy more guns and make ANOTHER 207 some day, and ENCOURAGING them to keep doing it as then they will feel immortal.

2. All you get in return is the hostage saving 200-600 bucks.

I'm not saying we should not stop going to 207s. It's ALWAYS worth ATTEMPTING to save hostage via negotiation, or assault if needed. But you should NEVER pay UNLESS the money is guaranteed to be returned if kidnappers are caught.

Well Chase, There is the possibility of regaining the money back, Happened tons of times with me, And, I believe it is totally wrong that FBI decides to always not pay, Because, We can't always win...Sometimes it is needed..

How is it needed? Paying over 100k just to have someone save a few hundred bucks, and at the same time encouraging criminals to keep doing it? Yes theres a possibility to get it back, via court. And if that happens, court will be flooded with cases, and if the criminals spend it too fast.. it will take a long time for them to pay it back.

You think it's wrong? I'll tell you whats wrong. Giving GOVERNMENT MONEY to CRIMINALS so they can continue doing it 100 times a week like they usually do.

If you wanna pay - Fine, do it, but FBI will not contribute government money to DOMESTIC TERRORISM.

I believe the best way to go about this is hard tactical training, or finding ways to trick criminals.

Giving money to them is like giving money to a child every time he's bad.

Its the PRINCIPLE of saving the guys life. I dont give a shit hwo much money th ehostage saved. Its the priciple of the job of an Officer of the law. To SErve and Protect. Ok so this all may be a game. But id rather give up pretend money to save pretend lives then watch someoen die when we could f saved him.

Today for example i gave out 60k to hostage takers because there was no other way of saving him. He Was saved. I dont care that i lost 60k Of my OWN money. because we saved that guys life. Simple

I remember CBF saying something a while ago in SAMP Ideas about having scripted money suitcases, that are dropped if kidnappers are killed or arrested.

Now until such a system is released, best thing to do is review kidnapper's steps, find out what he lacks, and exploit his flaw.

We MAY consider giving money if we are 100 percent sure that kidnappers have executed their plan professionally and successfully, which is rare, but can happen. If that's the case, we will have a court case on kidnappers in seconds after they are arrested or killed. If they're arrested, they will face charges on the terroristic level. But afterwards, we will review step by step, what kidnappers have done, and develop tactics to exploit their ways when it happens again..

Everyone somewhat happy now?

And I thought the Most important was to save the hostage, I do agree, It does sucks to pay to criminals, But if there's no other way, I do incourage paying, And the money can be recovered if the officers are able to catch the suspects, if they evade or hide the money in RP, That's it.  And yah. I gave that idea once, And yes, I do agree with that...

The long story made short: If we pay, we give them the money to do it again, so we make the Government fund even more kidnapping operations.
