Fire at Blueberry
« on: April 11, 2010, 20:05:33 pm »
Today, there was a 911 call of a farmer. He noticed that one of his sheds was on fire. Soon after, the fire department and SAPD arrived. Shortly after, paramedics followed. The fire spread out fast and the fire fighters waited for more vehicles to arrive.
The fire was spotted at around 13:15 and was extinguished at around 20:40. Soon after the fire had been discovered, firefighters concluded that it was arson. The arsonist was arrested.

Pictures:
Fire spotted and units arrived on scene, as the fire is still spreading.

Fire was put out and the voluntary firefighters returned home.

A firefighter - named Comrade - lost his life whilst fighting the flames. He will always remain in our heart.

The arsonist was traced by the SAPD, with help of the FBI. A medic was just helping at an accident at Gas Station 9 (GS9) when the officers and agents arrested the man. In the upper right corner you can see the car that hit a traffic light.

:ps: The last picture was taken earlier the day, I just liked it and I wanted to make a story with it.

Golly, this reminds me of the time I fought a oil refinery fire by myself. I eventually ran out of fire extinguisher and then the other 2 firefighters arrive.

These guys did a great job though, fantastic.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast and fast is lethal.
