Argonath is supposed to be a Roleplay Server but only has half the rules.
They don't enforce realism and everyone treats it as a Cops & Robbers game.

You see people bunnyhopping and think that their idiots,
but admins would rather kick YOU for flaming than THEM for Bunnyhopping.
So your moaning and flaming is going to make it better? Good call.

How about you try and see it from the point of view of other people too before you claim that your opinion is a fact. The thing that makes Argonath RPG unique is it's freedom of roleplay. If you don't like that, go find another server. Otherwise, stop complaining and try to find constructive ways to solve problems around here.

Well, to be honest, I'd say this topic is just about done for at this point. It's way beyond the original subject lol...

I would personally much rather have a chase on foot with a suspect who was tapping the spacebar like their life depended on it, with me doing the same. The concept of bunnyhopping imo is retarted, but if a criminal is not doing it and I see that SAPD units are, you're going to get a shitstorm from me. :devroll:

Agreed. The ONLY time I ever do it is only if the suspect has already begun doing it themselves, and even then, sometimes I don't do it. I would really like to see something done about this. It's unfair for both sides, and very non-RP'ish for all.

sure you quoted the right text there, cuz that made no sence to me.

I'VE learned not to bother flaming or even report players for bunnyhopping.
I just shoot at them and have done with it. and it's not Deathmatching.

sure people have freedom as to when they want to roleplay but it's normally forced or whenever the suspect wants to roleplay. police never have a say in the roleplaying.

You can shoot and chase a suspect all day while he bunnyhops and keeps using pay n sprays, but he only chooses to roleplay once his car is blown up and he's almost dead.

Well forced roleplay isn't allowed, although purposely trying to get your way out of one to avoid being jailed isn't either. :P

That isn't always true, and it's not just the suspects' faults. Officers do it too. Both sides need to learn to fix their problems.

Forced roleplay isn't allowed as this is not a strict RP server. Gandalf has said that himself. It is a "free RP" server in a world of it's own, hence the subtitle of Argonath RPG's name.

You see people bunnyhopping and think that their idiots,

Maybe because flaming is against the rule whereas using the f**king jump button is not.

ITT: Butthurt cops too stubborn to press the jump key.

The moment bunnyhopping is against the rules is the moment I know that ellesarpea has won. Why do all you people have to come from there and try to spread your damn rules?!
That said, I'd happily trade one ellesarpea rule for another.
Like, I'd trade not being allowed to bunnyhop with removing the /su command. Does that sound fair?

You can't have it both ways. Argonath or RLRPG. PICK ONE.

Very well, in that case I pick that /su is removed as it is not like real life, but that we can actually make money, as in real life. How does that sound?
