Hmm, today this officer put out a APB on a dumper with ID 37, I think, and said to stop the person and suspect them if we saw them. I was patrolling around LV-LS highway and saw him. I did a traffic stop and the guy cooperated. I said on the radio, U76 to U82, no response, Rex's unit number was 82. I PMed him saying I had his suspect. He said let them go, Never-mind. So I wasted this gentleman's time for a Never-mind APB/BOLO. Also, for SAPD, you need to know your unit number at ALL times.

Thanks,
Coley

As you know, not every police officer intend to RP, so leaving a suspect roam around thinking he is fine and not a good idea. Either get him unsuspected or jail him and return his money. Lucky an understanding officer found him.

I cannot post your lessons until I have clarified everything with the application handlers and academy leaders.

just to clarify i put it out on the radio to stop him just so i could question him at the roadside regarding his driving,i didnt want to suspect him i was in the SATP a few months ago and have been tried by the best traffic officers in SA!
Thanks,
Coley

I mistakened this man for a official cadet and trained him in session 1 and 2, I assume he will need to be retrained, I still retain the Academy report for the 2 sessions.
