VCPD Chief's donuts thief is caught after a manhunt all over Vice City

  Early today, Vice City witnessed the biggest manhunt of its history, organized by the Vice City Police Department after Chief JayL's donut box was stolen while he was distracted for a few seconds.

  Everything started when Chief JayL was welcoming a kind taxi driver into the police headquarters. "He said it was too cold outside, so I thought I'd let him wander around the lobby and enjoy our awesome heating system (beat that San Andreas Police!)", says the Chief of VCPD. As the department had bought its newest stock of Cherry-Chocolate-Pepper donuts yesterday, he was very happy to share some of it with that kind civilian.

  However, after he briefly observed his fellow officers doing deskjob, Chief JayL noticed his donut box disappeared. At that moment he had no idea who could it be, since the fellow civilian was still on his side. From here, the Chief personally went out on a manhunt across the town searching for the donut thief or possible witnesses.

  In the meantime someone invaded his office and broke the rainbow-colored umbrella JayL was keeping inside. "I had bought it two days ago and it was a gift for Chief Detective Fabio. It was a very beautiful umbrella". Upon finding it out, VCPD Chief JayL called in the Crime Scene Investigation team and they successfully analyzed leftover fingerprints in the broken umbrella. The culprit was now uncovered - a taxi business owner of Cuban descent named DaniGold.

  Undercover units from the Vice City Investigation Department were stationed outside the thief's taxi depot, located in Little Haiti, waiting for this monstrous villain to show up. As soon as DaniGold walked into the depot to take a cab, he was immediately intercepted by the VCID detectives. "I saw his scared immigrant face when I had all my awesome detectives surrounding him. Game over. Too bad I could not send him back to Cuba", says the VCPD Chief.

  When taken to the VCPD Headquarters in Washington Beach, the suspect was conducted through a gastro-psychological procedure to ensure he would never try eating a donut again. "He certainly knows what a donut covered by pepper tastes like".

  The suspect is now serving a 10 day sentence in the headquarters precinct, since the Cuban community in Vice City is very influential, and executing DaniGold would cause major trouble. "I hope this is a lesson for you all. You can call that DaniGold thief a lucky guy, since I could have executed him", said Chief JayL during a press conference.

  The Vice City Police Department urges all civilians to watch their backs. Literally. If you see someone about to poke you, they aren't looking for your wallet (unless you got a visa), they're looking for your donuts!
