Resignation
« on: September 11, 2010, 02:28:51 am »

It is time for me to step down and release my obligations. I have been with the ARPD for a year and a half now, and I've loved every moment of it. ARPD has taught me a lot about leadership and team work, as well as giving me opportunities to prove myself.

It's time for me to step down. I'm going to Academy in 3 months, and I'm on my last semester for my Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. I also need to get more busy with my personal life. I'm close to getting back together with Liz Beth (things are going very well for us this time around)... Okay, screw the concealment - Thing are going well for Anna and I, and I need to focus on that, especially with going through academy soon.

I will also be moving out in a couple months to a place of my own for Academy, and possibly the rest of my work life. The next 2-3 months are going to be outrageously fast paced and semi-stressful. It's time to crack down on real life, and get this all settled. The demotion from Lieutenant also woke me up to that fact - I just can't do this anymore, I have to crack down. So ironically, I thank you Vince.

On top of all that, my game will no longer work so I will probably not be seen in game much more either.

I am not retiring ARPD because of ACSD or anything, I will be retiring from ACSD as soon I fix this issue with the cop bans, and they're back on their feet.

Before I leave, I want you guys to know that I will be in game occasionally (granted the crashing doesn't frustrate me), and I will be lurking on the forums. If possible, I'd like to try to ask for some type of "honorary" position in ARPD (like permanent Officer or something), as I plan to come back and you guys are a family to me.

Last but not least, before I part as an official member of the ARPD, I would like to give the following statements;

Vince - Thank you for your lessons. We had our hard times, and I still believe there's a little there, but you've been a good friend and we've been beneficial to each others work.
Pancher - Thank you so much for giving me the chance to prove myself. You spent personal time with me, allowing me to skip Cadet and go straight to Officer. You spent time looking into my leadership and gave me the chance to prove myself as a leader.
CBFasi - An unexplainable thanks to you for everything. You've taught me a lot about leadership, and you taught me what to do when the going got rough. You taught me how to admin, you taught me how to lead ACSD even though at times you were skeptical about our group. You were a great mentor and I couldn't thank you enough.
Salmonella - We didn't communicate much, but you had my back with SFPD and the Academy. Even though sometimes you were a little provocative, you gave me that "hello, pay attention" push and got me back up to what I was supposed to do.
Boozman - What isn't there to say, you helped with the Academy, you helped lead in LSPD.. You're well rounded and definitely a leader. Just do me a favor when I leave, start obeying the traffic laws ;) hehe...
Erick - I could say so much about you Erick but I will leave that for my ACSD resignation. ;)
Matrixbob - While I am skeptical of your SAPD/ACSD relations, you really were a help. You were there when ACSD was falling apart, and picked it back up. You were there for SFPD, and gave me a chance to prove myself and lead our department to success. You were very neutral in your opinions and provided a great third opinion. Thank you.
GiacJr - You're an asshole most of the time, but I gotta mention you anyway. You're a brother to me, and you are part of the team in my mind ;) You got me flamed and ready to fight a lot, but you provided great lessons to make me better at leadership and teamwork. Thanks for that.
Oliver Daniels - You gave me the chance to prove myself in SWAT. While I didn't do very much, mainly because of my time zone/schedule in relation to SWAT, I was able to have a lot of fun with it. You also were one of the first to point something out to me when it needed to be addressed. Thanks for your effort.
SugarD - Great friend, thanks for having my back when I needed you. It was awesome meeting you in person, and I'll have to come visit you when I'm an Officer in a couple months!!
Squeak - GTFO FGT!! No.. I'm joking. You were my center of humor for ARPD, thanks for being a stress relief, you're a great guy.
Liz_A - See you tonight for our date ;) You're the center of my happiness lately and I will look forward to everything we do together :)

There really should be a hall of fame or something.  There are so many officers that deserve to be there.  Rory is one of those people.  He's been in the SAPD ever since I even joined this server one year ago.  One of the officers I looked up to back in those days. Rory kick some f**king ass when you are a real cop and arrest some bad guys for me bro.  Keep our streets safe man and good luck out there

Goodluck Rory,

It wasn't a "bad" provocative. Occasionally you'd get me a little heated, but it was what I needed to get pushed forward. :)

Good luck Rory, and thanks/you're welcome. :)

;)

Good luck in your future and don't stay a stranger around here

Oh don't worry, I will be lurking around ;) Just wish I still had access to the SFPD forums and the Academy >_<

Yes, he resigned. But isn't banning him pulling it a little too far..?

Actions taken out by the Chief's don't need to be second guessed. They have their reasons and they will be sorted out accordingly.
