Ok, Im just doing some research of which cops would like it removed because its kinda non-rp but its a RPG server.

-Less Killing of Suspects
-More Arrests in ARPD

Bad
-People jailing other suspects at LSPD/SFPD/LVPD
-Stealing of Suspects

Well, as Cop you get money IRL? I don't think the cops are cops for free, because they want to be cop.
Offcourse we should get the money, it's not our fault (us who actually do a job, and when we kill it was the only thing to do) that some ARPD Officers can't handle that. So don't come and say that people don't work also because of the money, because people also need money.

If u want to slow doen the abuse of killing among the ARPD Officers, remove the given money for ARPD officers after killing suspects, and let SAPD Officers still get them, but in my opinion there are alot of ARPD Officers out there, who does a really god job who also deserves the money.

What Badandy says does have a point, if Cops in general cannot earn a decent amount of cash from killing people then they HAVE to resort to keeping the suspect alive if possible.

The problem is, the suspects MIGHT take advantage of this and actually get themselves killed more seeing as it is a gives them a no - win situation for both sides.

I think we should make the pay for killing suspects ridiculously low. (It's not the best actually, but hey it's an idea )

Positive side: You will have cops to be less likely to shoot and kill everyone on sight. They'll only shoot when there's no other choise. (= more RP)
Negative side: Cops camping in the jailcells to steal suspects. Criminals taking advantage of this, by never giving up. Knowing that cops are less likely to kill, they'll do anything they can to get away.

Not saying you should be a cop for money, but we do need money for buying stuff in the server right, you just dont spawn it (Being practical, not everyone has 1 Mill here)

Since you involved money in this discussion, think of it this way.

Arrest = $1,500
Kill = 600$

Yet some of freecops choose kill.
Removing the kill amount won't change anything, its the attitude of few cops that needs to be changed

its for the upper command staff to teach their members what they must do..... there are situations when the LVPD units only allowed to use pepper spray against a running suspect.. because they have a leader with them On duty, who is actually controlling all members of the division.

Its up for the department leaders to raise the new generation cops in good way.
Erasing the payments wont change anything, believe me.

You should get a reward when you defend yourself from someone who tries to kill you.

Police work is a job, after all, even if you do it to roleplay. For the latter, you can give your earnings to other units who helped you if you don't want to keep them- it encourages teamwork.

It changes nothing from a suspect point of view. They act same. I think current amaount of cash as you can buy new armour after shootout. Ofcourse it changes quality of SAPD who are more trigger happy. Its a fact sadly. I personaly think that ARPD officers shouldn't  get that much.

All rewards should be removed, in my opinion. And all punishments for cops should also be removed. No money loss on death, no money loss when killing a civilian or fellow cop.

This way cops would always stay at the same amount of money, they won't lose anything.
