New headset
« on: January 13, 2011, 11:53:00 am »
I thought it was time I get a new headset as all I've been doing lately is working and hence I have a little cash to spend. I really prefer Sennheiser products and hence I'd prefer a Sennheiser headset.

I'm looking at this one at the moment
Link to Sennheiser website and headset - PC333D

I use the Logitech X530s 5.1 Surround Sound speaker system and if I ever want to use headphones I have to plug it into the main speaker which is quite far away from my PC.

Anyone have any suggestions?

USB headsets with super long cables, or wireless/BlueTooth headsets are definitely the way to go.

I use sennheiser headphones that were about 90 AUD, forgot to mention I wanted a headset with a mic aswell. The PC 333D seems to be about 240 AUD+ so I might settle for something arounr 100 AUD but still sennheiser, I reckon it'd last for a while so.

well.. to be honest they do look good. but i have both Logitech G35 and Plantronics Gamecom 777. Both 7.1 surround sound and very comfortable. But i would honestly suggest the Plantronics Gamecom 777. If you go to ebgames you can get em for 100$

Just bought a Plantronics Gamecom 777 today. Very nice, getting used to it though. $69.99
