Resignation
« on: April 01, 2011, 16:59:45 pm »
I know to some this will not come as a surprise..

I have not been active at all lately, and have been trying to honestly see if I should remain to give advice to LSPD yet it seems they're doing fine on their own. I haven't been ingame being the role of deputy chief, and I do not feel it's fair to anyone if I continue this.

I started my police career way back in early 2008, when I was accepted as a cadet by Chief Luca, later to be trained and accepted as an SAPD Officer by Captain Nicholas Angel (you may know him by Trix) after a long time with timezone issues. Soon after I passed training and accepted the officers badge I was apart of the LSPD and had a great time. I remember specific nights when Luca was still a level 5 admin and TPed me to him so we could patrol, and all the fun times flying around in helicopters with myself CBF, and Nicholas. A few weeks after though I was promoted to Captain, seeing as Luca resigned and Hank and Nicholas were promoted to Chiefs of the newly formed SAPD (with no subdivisions of LSPD, SFPD etc). From there I innocently began working as Captain, training many new cops to be good SAPD officers through the old academy system where only Captains and above could do official trainings. This was all along with Captains Pancher and CBFasi.

Then time went on, others were brought into the PD, and I had my fair share of issues "growing up" with SAPD. I will say this right now, I was not very close with Hank at all at the time, and when Nicholas retired I felt a bit out there until I actually got to talking to him, which was no big deal. FlameMan was brought in, who I used to have many problems with ( :D) and even at one point started a topic that was directed at him to show how bad he was (which actually got the attention I needed!) at the time. Whichever way that turned out, I have no problems with him now as he is back as an SAPD member. I've been invited to the first official SWAT team lead by James Hunter which was the best of them all, as he was actually dedicated to Argonath and just Argonath. I've had my fair share with dealing with Jay Adams and his over 9000 retirements and returns to SWAT as commander, whom I heavily disliked. And of course, being demoted for "winch abuse" as many think. ;)

Either way it has been a good run with all of you here, watching som eof those I trained way back when develop into great cops and leaders, watching them retire, and still sticking around. I've seen new officers come into my department I don't even know which I do not find fair, and feel I shouldn't make decisions on certain things if I don't even know my members. I've seen people like Leroy, Plam Knight, Nicholas Baker, Jimmy Bowling as complete new people grow into command staff of SAPD, and it seems my time is just up.

I wish all of you the best of luck in the future, and again, considering my long absences I hope this is not too much of a surprise..

Signed,
ol' Deputy Chief Vice

Oh no, mustache man is leaving?
That's bad.

Well, every one will have one time, when they need to move on. Good luck with IRL, Vince!
