ARPD Emergency Response Committees and ARPD Duties

ARPD Emergency Response and Duties

Often in tragedys, officers on the scene need to work out how to best handle the situation, which can result in cluster of unneeded amounts of cadets and officers attempting to resolve a chaotic situation which unintentionally caused an situation to develop.

The fact of the matter of having police patrol around certain areas whilst areas such as Dillamore or Blueberry are rarely visited is down to Departments, they are missed buy a lot of people, yes, but this isn't about Departments, it's about the roles and duties that I want to present to the ARPD Command.

If wished I can develop an entire document with roles and duties for Officers. Upon becoming an Officer, should it really end there? I believe Officers should have a choice of main roles and duties, so pretty much - everything they do when they become an Officer, but give their prority attention to their roles and duties.

So, what roles and duties could there be?

  • Highway Patrol Officer - Police that monitor highways and can quickly set up needed blockades to stop  pursuits before reaching another city
  • Traffic Officer - Pairing up with an selected partner and often patroling the city streets as an
pair on motorbikes, the advantage being they can easily keep up with
    the citys turns and allyways
  • Police Aerial Support - Having an set unit that are dedicated to flying and responding to situations where
they are needed, could be very useful to have an actual unit going, radio
controller, pilot, camera-man, like a real police aerial team
  • Community Support Officer - Foot patrols and constantly speaking with the community, find out areas of
crime and known drug dealers, have Officers learn the worrys and thoughts
of the very people we protect and serve.

F.A.Q.

Q1. Would one have to be chosen?
A1. No! But the option would be there.

Q2. Who would manage who got in, where to patrol, what specific duties and codes to respond to?
A2. I would write up an large document, but an certain rank such as Sergeant could be given these units, that would give Sergeants an actual responsibility!

Q3. Would these Officers have priority control over a situation in their court?
A3. They would be called in and refered to, the balls in their court here so why not let them handle the situation?

Q4. How would these units start off? What training would we need to give Officers?
A4. I can start off these units one by one, then hand over command to an given Sergeant if wished.

Q5. If i'm not in a unit, can I still take an helicopter / bike / patrol highways?
A5. Yes! You just wouldn't have the training that they do, but theres nothing to stop you from helping out.

What do you think guys? Would you like to see an organized ARPD, running the show as a team, like the real police? ideas and opinions are welcome.

Please note - If agreed to, I will write up a large document of roles and duties for ARPD Unit duties, training and how to join them, the abouve four are listed to give an example of units.

ARPD Emergency Response Committees

In times of extreme situations or emergencies, officers really have to work fast together to sort out things on a large scale, which takes time, which can cost lives. So, like in the real world, why not have Emergency Response Committees?

Emergency Response Committees (ERC) are groups of high command individuals and well experienced officers whom handle certain situations if an situation falls in their courts. The committees will already have a plan for situations so they can get Officers on the field to work straight away.

Types of committees;

  • Riot Response Committee - What happens if theres a Riot going on? Who do we call? Do we make roadblocks? They plan for the situation.
  • Traffic accident Committee - What happens if theres an minor accident? A large accident? A pile up? They plan for the situation.
  • Natural Disaster Committee - Fires, earthquakes, floods, we'd be stupid not to have a committee with a plan ready to set up evacuation points and roles for Officers, blockades and traffic routes, etc.

If agreed to, more committees could be set up. Committees could be three or two people of high rank, depending on the frequency and scale of a situation depends on how much planning needs to be done. If agreed to I can think up of some more Committees and i'm sure you guys have ideas about Committees too!

its good to have such a group,

but with cops you already got a team for extreme stuff like fbi and swat,

and others who coordinate roadblocks and all.

so to be honoust it is just some kind of fbi or swat.

and we never rp nature disasters,

you need lots of ppl to go and rp that

I think you've got it completely wrong mate. Other wise why do the real police have these sorts of divisions and units? We don't have an specialist unit to co-ordinate roadblocks, simply because that'd be pointless. And for extreme situations, as you said, FBI and SWAT. Do SWAT respond to traffic accidents? No. Do FBI follow an suspect wanted for Auto Theft in an helicopter? No. List is endless.

So these units would be ready for those kind of call outs, Murder. These units would allow people to specialize in any given duty and role, whilst still continuing the things they do already.

If I didn't think this could be set up, I wouldn't of posted it, I have every hope and trust in the SAPD that they have the ability to run an unit when given control, I would set it up, then hand it over to a capable lead unit. Who says we need a load of people for this job? Four people per unit would be fine, no doubt it would grow, we have LOADS of Officers, bloody loads! So we're not short on that there.

true james but:

yes fbi responds to carjacker,

today i was chasing a sus for carjack when i see a fbi car also chasing, i was pretty suprised thats true,

but a team that responds for small accidents and all? thats for cadets, the bigger 1 can be for officer or if really bad for swat/fbi

i dont got a problem with it, but for accidents you got a techincal unit to investigate it.

for nature isnt a special unit(because in the netherlands we dont got it) but thats only for roadblocks.

and yes i hear enough about requesting roadblocks which can be done by cops,
i did it myself once

and just a little off topic question:

You might have seen the FBI chasing someone suspected for 'carjacking', but we know many things you don't, such as that he killed someone, either that was a cop or a civillian.

The FBI will never respond to a carjacker - it makes no sense ... There is the big SAPD with many many officers for that, why need the FBI ?

When you have SWAT and experienced SAPD officers and seniors ... I don't see why you will want such Committee ... but if you want to do it ...

What is the problem? If FBI wants to chase a carjacker... Go ahead. If they dont, no worries.

If someone carjacks us... we would suspect them... but leave it to the SAPD to get them as we have better things to do.

Oke murderboy we will follow your rule... We dont chase carjackers and you dont do code 207 an all the have things. Because in real life cadets are only there to help support officers... ;).. If you wonna play this game.... So FBI have the rights to do nothing but you you can do everything ????? Whats the problem whit helping college's if we wonna help you whats the problem...  Now you give me the  proof that FBI and arpd are enemies for you??? I see that every step FBI does wrong i see it in forum's... I dont now what your age murderboy but i see you have already a big mounth and you are still a cadet so plz respect higher rank and if they say yes its yes and not no..... If a higher rank makes descicion's he have a reason.. and nobody nows fbi files so if we fiollow a suspect you dont now why who told you it was for a carjacking.. And what is wrong whit cooperation ??? I now by expernience in real life when a cop is in trouble and the sercret service or civialens cops past whit there car they will help there college's we dont need enemy stuffs... So if you want FBI Vs ARPD like i saw in your last postes.. Then we dont need you you can stay cadet then.. I wonna work and live whit FBI and ARPD i want a good cooperation like real life... I dont wonna be afraid to do a mistake like every humain do and then find it posted here in the forum... So what going on now FBI gonna look all the mistakes of ARPD and ARPD against us... and dont tell me we are not enemy's ATM... ARPD have enouf stalked us whit traffic stuff's ETC... Thats realy unproffesionall to stalk team mates... And dont tell me its noth true Because i aim not a child anymore and i see the things how there are... ARPD pull us over... reason " yeah you dont stop to let past a car from the right, Yes you where driving 90 and the law says 80, Yes you cant park there, Yes you are the fbi chief no you dont are you or on duty hello guys wake up an fbi chief taht is off duty or on duty is alway a Chief taht you respect... You dont say him what to do but you respect or get suspended its realy simply... You think in real life you can pull over a chief and have a big mounth against him whitout been punishd Whe we never pull over the ARPD chiefs???  You know why because we are not so lame... We respect the chiefs and if he say i aim buzzy we dont set a big mounth against him...

We don't need to play children game's look he did that look he did that... Or flaming eachother atacking eachother... We need people that have resposability and that wonna take responsability.. That wonna work to a better cooperation... And we realy need a better cooperation... An officer or ARPD officer must be responsability and have stability in his head... Why you think when you enter the tehy do psycologik tests....

Sinds i aim in FBI i see only that kind of problems... I didnt now why but now i understand why FBI react on this way Because they are stalked and constanly attacked verbal etc...

PS: I hope Next week we can make a new start whit a bette cooperationPS: And i dont wonna child reaction's on my bad englisch or on the faults i sayd the point is very clear... If you wonna help us out to get a better Cooperztion so we can laug together after work gonna eat somthing together nice rp then repli on this message plzz... If it is for starting a war keep better your comments for you...

I've pulled him over three times. I'd do it again if he broke the law and I'd chosen to stay on at SAPD. He can write as much as he wants about me.

OOOw plzz guys common you pulled him over 10 min later... I asked an officer who was in your team... ATM I say whats the problem he answer its somthing between james and the chief. This was stalking stop to play innocents... And no the FBI is not Allowd to break traffic rules but you still respect him... the way you guys talked to him was dirrespect.. And when he told you he was undercover buzzy.. You guys keepon dissrespect him... So dont say it was a normale traffic stop after breaking a rule it was.. a Set up and one of your guys confirm it an it was a higher rank then an officer...

PS: you know in real life if you pull over an chief and he say you i iam the fbi chief i aim buzzy the agent will say oowwa srry sir you can go etc.... And no saying like yes you are off duty now and dissrespecting etc... And like i say 1 higher rank of your group confirmed me it was a set up... After the traffic stop you keepit following us and pulled us over again for such stupids details...

Ooow yeah the higher rank told me its not funny he told me its unacabtable that attitude... He say it putting im in a unfunny situation.. And james i dont attack you personnaly it is an example on 1000 cases this was just one off it... And i asked to not post reactions on my faults but to put reaction to solve this thing out...

Mister carter you dont need to shout at me you kan also say it the calm way... He is maybee not allowd to do that but you dont dissrespect him in conversation... and no need to lie about the admins can check the logs... and  why you dont pull over your own chief when he is off duty??? Because it simple.. This pulls over was a personall affair and not a traffic stop an there are officers that confirm it0....
