SAPD officers on fire scene
« on: May 28, 2011, 03:34:43 am »
SAPD, I love you guys. You guys are great help. However, you need to back off of my fire scenes. I got it taken care of. This post is after a class B fire started on a ship in San Fierro. While on scene a medical unit got trapped by the flames. SAPD officers decided to try and be the hero, one officer ran off the side of the ship, meaning I now had to do a swift water rescue. Two fireman including myself were killed while trying to grab another officer, the medic also died from smoke inhalation due to the fact he wasn't save in time. You guys need to let me do my job please. Back off, and secure the area. I got it taken care of guys. I am sure if the officers would not have ran in to the flames our RIT(Rapid Intervention Team) would have been able to save the medic.
All you guys should worry about is traffic control, crowd control, fire and incident scene security, and apparatus security. Really, honestly it makes my job easier if you don't help.
Stay safe.
Signed,
Captain James Zissou

Though you have a point, I am sure the Officers had their best interests in saving the Paramedic, though it may of gone successfully with the Fire fighting team.

Oh yes Chief, I know they had good intentions. However they need to stay off the scene till it is cleared by an SAFD incident command. I'm not asking for you guys not to help, I want you guys to please help. However stay away from the fire!
